Wlad-Pulev is one of the few intriguing matchups that Wlad could be involved in in this division. Pulev has a fine distance radar and a sharp left jab that would definitely bust up Klitschko's face and get him frustrated. His big weakness is that he would be a complete sucker for Wlad's straight one-two with his lack of head movement and extremely upright, stiff stance. Still would be a hell of a lot more interesting than Wlad-Chagaev, Peter II, Mormeck, Thompson II, Wach etc.

Povetkin landed a right early which shook Rahman. Rahman has landed a handful of jabs and left hooks but povetkin is the busier and certainly the stronger one. Rahman looks liker he's there for the taking. Wlad klitschko would have thiver by now.

His legs were shaky coming down the bloody steps. I don't think I've ever seen a fighter hurt during the ring walk before.

Povetkin is all over an ancient looking Rahman. Rahman standing back to the ropes taking the full array of Povetkin's punches. Ref briefly intervenes as if to give the crowd some kind of money's worth but it's a pointless exercise. With one arm on the ropes Rahman took two lefts from Povetkin and the ref halts the exhibition.

I didn't know what to make of it when he was sort of limping down the stairs. The first decent shot Povetkin landed showed there was clearly something wrong with Rahman's leg.

Rahman tried some new squared up hands down style off the ropes and when that didn't work he rested his arm on the top rope. That style wasn't overly impressive.

I don't even care to see Povetkin vs Wlad . . it would be a one-sided fight. Early in his career he was a more effective effective well schooled volume puncher but now he's slowing down in and entering his mid 30s where he just becomes a vulnerable light puncher with stamina issues.

Yeah, the layoff did him in because he looked so damn good beating Galen Brown 18 months ago. He is shot and has been for several years. Most people here knew that, you didn't and still don't by the looks of it.

Other than Povetkin, what is a better fight for Wlad? For me, besides David Price, I just dont see of anyone more worthy of Povetkin. Povetkin will certainly lose but he's about the best of a sorry lot right now. Povetkin is more worthy of a fight than Price, I just think Price stands a better chance.

Pulev is definetly a better opponent for Wlad now. Pulev vs Wlad should be next.
