Pryce would be a good test, but not good for boxing, as it would be best to have younger fresher fighter, don't know what's happening with O'donnell, but can't see him fighting for the English, Hall needs a fight, he would take it, Selkirk won't do the weight, O'meara might take it, but doubt it on a Hearn show, Maxwell would take it tommorow, Al Harbi wants it, according to twitter and would be a good fight, apparently Ball has retired and out of the eliminator with Al Harbi, which in turn would free Al Harbi, Cox is fighting on a Warren show, Rose is fighting Webb in december, Mansouri has a chance, would take it to Ochieng, ( depending on prizefighter ) maybe a Quigley rematch, it was a great fight last time, if Quigley changes his tactics could be closer, I think Ochiengs team will go safe, someone like Nathan Graham, who will put up a good fight, but not be too much of a threat, like Lowe. Does Ochieng sell enough tickets to bring in a good name from abroad ? If he does that will be the best bet, but I am sure Hearn would have got him a shot at an IBF International title by now if he did or made a big offer for Cox, personally I don't think he would want to risk losing a shot at the british or commonwealth against some of the fighters above, Rose will vacate the british if he beats Webb, then they will be a rush for it, unless someone already has something in place.

Cox fight for WBO Inter. has been cancelled so cox vs ochieng will be 1st choice then the other options will have to wait until this fight definatley not happening 2nd option will be international or intercontinental. Hearns has made it clear from the start if he can, Ochieng will not be fighting for the English again so all the other fighters you have mentioned will have to wait like Al Harbi & Pryce. Boxers like O'mera will not be interested in Eng belt his waiting for British or commonwealth as Cox and O'meara both FW camp and FW likes to keep things in house so it's all IF'S BUT'S AND MAYBES.

Do you think Hearn will put up the money needed for the Cox fight, would be a great fight if it comes off, Cox comes looking for a ko and Ochieng has skills, on the International title front, need to get moving on an opponent, it's getting closer to the date, but plenty of options.

I can't remember him ever unfit for a fight ? He always seems in shape, maybe his head is not always there, but can't see him being unfit, these are the fights we want to see, watching Billie Joe totally out box and out fight the faded Pryce did nothing for me.

i did box terrible against billy joe,but after boxing butler.mendy then saunders all at middle kind of lose the heart to bother,im begging for a fight at light-middle and will box anyone,im not with a promoter so im ready and waiting,i believe i can beat any of the light-middles,im with new trainer now and excited to box again,its been a long time,i promise my next performance will be my best 1.

I hope so Bradley, your career has been up an down, how you could be fighting at middle, when you used to fight at welter and then light middle, only you know, you where brilliant against Small, terrible against Hall and have been a bit ordinary since, couple that with you moving up in weight, it has not been one of the best times in your career, I hope you can recapture your old form, but if you can't, don't just do it for the pay days, as you were once a good champion.

Mervyn, Jamie refused the WBO inter which I thought was a bad move but ultimately Jamie's decision. Jamie doesn't have to do anything other than please himself & I will always have his back.

I understand but what seems to be the issue here? Is Jamie in contact issues with FW? and issues with Commonwealth? If issues with both I can see that it's a messy situation and very frustrating for Jamie if he is fit and ready to go. Why did he refuse the WBO inter?

If Valentine wins (Hes my Prediction) then id rather he got a couple more wins under his belt to improve his record before boxing someone like Ochieng again .

But id assume Matchroom gets options on Prizefighter entrants ?

Ishe Smith is a really good fighter, might be too good and too much money, always been on the verge of something big, without quite getting there.

sorry to revive a dead thread, but if smith isn't currently ranked, how can he be scheduled to challenge for k-9's IBF title in february? is there some contender magic happening at the IBF? i thought you had to defend against the top contender, and then anyone else in the top 10, within a year of winning the title. i haven't seen anybody put his title on the line against an unranked fighter in a long time, especially against someone who has a decent chance at winning. It's an extra defence of your title against a worthy challenger in addition to the 2 mandatories that you don't have to make. maybe there is tv $$ in it?

The IBF 11st title is practically dormant these days (I made a comment on another thread regarding Bundrages 'annual outing') so I imagine the IBF are grateful anyone wants to contest it.
