You need to say how Chisora would beat Fury if they fight again. He has never showed how he could achieve such a result in my opinion.
As I have said a million times before, Fury works too hard for Del Boy who is a plodder and doesn't carry the power to stop Tyson. It's not a great match up for Del Boy.
You Chisora fanatics are putting words in people's mouths by the way. I don't see any here calling him a journeyman etc, they are simply saying he is over rated ( top 10 in the world? He is maybe as low as 4th best Brit right now ) based on two fights ( Helenius where he won a close fight imo against another one paced guy who struggles if his power can't make the difference and Vitali where Chisora lost by a mile, same as Kevin Johnson did for example )
A rusty Haye took his head off his shoulders. I think he needs to have one or two to settle back in to things before going back in against someone like Price who could take his head off his shoulders again for example. A knockout can dent a fighters confidence hugely. It's all well and good saying Chisora should go straight back in deep waters but the last time we see him in the ring he was face down on the canvas with the ref standing over him.

We're all rightfully peeved that heavyweights won't risk anything or fight anyone and yet when Chisora fights four big names on the trot he's regarded as poorer than everybody else and relegated to 'journeyman'. Helenius would knock most heavies out - Chisora beat him. Vitali stops almost all his opponents - Chisora goes 12 no problems and makes the oldboy work for it for once. Gets no credit. He was obviously overweight and seemingly undermotivated for Fury and had him rocking. Chisora fully deserves to be considered among the top 10 - he did better than most of them would if only they had the bollocks to fight the guys he fights.
Well said.

Fury's opponents since the Chisora fight have been okay and he has stopped them all in under 5 rounds.
fightfaninfrance wrote:Chisora has come on for me, he'll deny Price the chance to derail Fury by finishing him late on himself.
Fury is in better shape than he was in the Chisora fight and he won that fight comfortably.

Yeah he did!!! Are you blind?!?! That was the fight when it was clear he had for once taken his training seriously. And to be fair since then he seems to have turned a corner.

I tend to think he calculated wrong thinking lets go in big to combat Fury’s 19st or so. Either way he suffered due to it, Fury was there for the taking at that time.

I'm not so sure Chisora would have beaten Fury if in great shape. For me, to beat Fury you'd probably need to knock him out as he has such massive physical advantages and good workrate that outboxing him over a 12 round period would be a difficult task for a guy of Chisora's size. In addition, Fury has improved a lot since the Chisora fight. He's in much better shape physically and is using his jab an awful lot more. I also agree with the poster above who said that he felt Chisora was intimidated by Fury.
I'm not a huge fan of Fury and think Price would have him out of there very quickly but I just don't think Chisora has enough to stop him, which he'd need to in my view, to get the win.

A lot was made of Chisora coming in out of shape for that fight. If you look at Fury at the time compared to now then you could argue that Fury was in worse shape than Chisora anyway. If Del boy was fit this time, it would make no difference to the result as Fury has move on in terms of fitness too, the gap is still there.

The only difference it would make it that Fury might be slightly more marked up. He still wins

I would like to see Fury vs Chisora II, though once Chisora has had a comeback fight. I would favour Dereck to win a rematch.

I'm surprised there isn't more of a clamour for Price v Chisora

Yeah very good match up, surely has to be made an eliminator (not necassarily a final eliminator) for one of the belts.

I'll take even money bets on a Fury-Chisora rematch right now. I'll take Fury, you can have the wife beater. Tenner anyone?

Not if Dereck keeps losing and Fury keeps winning.
