Poor Ricky. I feel for the guy.
But I suspect that's the best thing that can happen to him, long term.
He is slurring his words, he doesn't look good.
Boxing is no place for him. He needs to throw his energy into something else.

Dempsey is doing a brilliant job. It's car crash television to watch a broken man, on the verge of tears, being interviewed, and Dempsey is playing it very softly and being (rightly) very kind to Hatton.

Just watched his post fight interview and I'm totally gutted for him. He needs to be guided and protected now as he won't be in a good place for a while.

Buckland and Foster put on a great show
Quigg was brilliant
Murray did what he had to against a limited opponent, didnt prove anything
Ricky was a shell of his former self and needs to retire
Really miss Dempsey and Darke from Sky boxing

Agreed. Didn't actually hear what was being said (was in a crowded pub) but Hatton looked an absolute picture of human anguish.
Considering that he was out for over 3 years (3 very difficult years too) I thought he put in a rather decent performance but I hope he does retire now because although he's still brave and strong, it's obvious that Hatton just isn't the same fighter that he used to be.

I genuinely feel (and there is no hint of a joke in this comment) that Ricky's family need to keep a very close eye on him over the coming weeks because I really do think he could go into deeper depression that will end up in him trying to commit suicide. He seemed absolutely distraught.
