they look great, but in the boxing ring they are just completetly impractical.... i reckon Kirkland Laing could have done lightweight with a crew cut :D

Something Vitali mentioned which also occured to me a while back..

Black fighters in my opinion, should not be allowed to wear braids in the ring in my opinion. The hair is course anyway, and having them in braids turns them into abrasive ropes which could cause brusing, grazing, and even worsen cuts.

Vitali mentioned that Lewis' hair was aggravating the cuts when their heads came together, and I think he had a fair point, not that it would have made any difference in his case.

That Green haired geeza (Oliveira, I think) who fought Jason Cook last time out was a bit of a shocker.

I think that's the guy Steve. I think Mickey Vann let him get knocked down about 5 times before he finally waved it off.

Can't find a picture but that 'haircut' when Honeyghan faced Breland was terrible.....half his head was shaved, the other half had hair....

Even worse than Jorge Luis, surely?

how many coppers wear designer clobber, have a crocodile living on their houseboat and drive a porche. outside of london anyway :D
i used to love the way when under cover sonny crocket used to use the alias sonny burnett. there was no chance that alias would start any bells ringing in the heads of those poor columbian cartel guys.

I am suprised no one has mentioned Ivan Drago (Rocky 4), or Clubber Lang (Rocky 3) not to mention Apollo Creed's Microphone head in the first of the films.

Has anyone mentioned Don Kings barnet ? Wasnt it styled that way to make him appear taller ?

Don King is already a huge man, about 6'4" I believe, my understanding was that he modelled it on some famous historical figure he read about.
