Eg. the history books show that Audley Harrison was the European Heavyweight Champion - but he beat Michael Sprott.
As neither of these lads were British title level, this was really in effect a Southern Area title fight souped-up and sold to the public as a European title fight !

People like degale & bellew are lads who don't fear who is inside the ropes & are prepared to risk there credentials to prove they are the best. Fight fans cry out that fighters take easy routes & swerve challenging fights & these type of lads want to give you them nights so support them!!
What's Miranda done at light heavyweight. He was a middleweight who had limited skill, but big power AT THAT WEIGHT. He ain't wrecked anyone at super middle, let alone light heavy.

As you clearly do not have the intelligence to understand the point I am making, I will spell it out for you.
With regards to British heavyweights there is David Haye who is world level.
The next level (i.e. Brtish level - the boxers who are fighting for the British title) is the likes of Price, Fury, Chisora.
The level below that includes Audley and Sprott (with Sexton, Skelton, McDermott etc,).
What I am saying is that if 2 boxers who are below the British level of Price/Fury/Chisora face each other, then in reality it is more a Southern area fight than a European title fight.

When Harrison-Sprott II happened (April 2010), a shot Danny Williams was British champ, getting ready to lose to a completely unproven Chisora (whose best win at the time was probably a 6 rounder against Sexton).
So, I think to call that fight Southern Area level is a bit wide of the mark.

Quite correct, I wasn't arguing that it was European level by any stretch - but I think Southern Area is a bit low. Somewhere in between (English/British) would have been more appropriate if there was a title on the line.
