Thought Hatton was way too big for Pac and Ricky would win easily...
Back in the 1980s i watched Lonnie Smith crush Bill Costello and thought Smith was going to be a big star. Told all my mates...

I was wrong about Zahut the solicitor without a defence. I thought he was hopeless the first time I saw him.

Gosh where do you start.
I championed Danny Williams to win a version of a world title (not after he beat Tyson, but before that - before losing to Samil Sam).
I championed Attila Levin to show himself as world class. Amazing to think it was Ray Austin who would go on to fight for a world title (and win an eliminator bout).

thats the beauty of this sport,you just never can tell how a fight will pan out ,certainly at title level.as soon as youve been proven wrong you think "oh yeh how did i not see that fight going that way"

Yan Barthelemy. As an amateur the guy was class, an Olympic and World amateur champion now 12-3 (4) as a professional. Total bust.

I think a solicitor can easily defend because he better know that how to deal with a case.Because he have a great experienced that what to do if you have to face any problem and how to fix it.
Not too sure about that one. As much respect as I have for Kahut, it has to be said that his defence is leakier than a great grandmother`s pants.

Froch has proved me wrong many times (thanks Carl, loved it every time).
Thought there was no way Holyfield could beat Tyson.
Thought McGuigan would have more success.
Thought Hatton would beat Pac. Considered Pac too small.
Watched Lonnie Smith destroy Billy Costello and thought we had a new p4p superstar on our hands.

No thanks pal I believe we will continue to believe its at least 50% of the fun.
Comical or not no better feeling the anticipation of a fight event when you know there up against it but faith all be it blind tells you its possible.
Ricky is a multi millionaire off the back of it and thousands of fans will never forget those nights.
Remove the bulldog spirt and analyse it properly no chance.

i was rereading a thread where a dude confidently picked simon valilly over marius briedis, saying briedis was nothing and that valilly was a really nice boxer
made me think of this topic................i thought early on for sure that wilder was a ktfo waiting for happen, proved to be tougher than i thought
in fact his lover tyson fury ended up much better than i expected too

Someone on here said the only thing I got right about Audley's career was his name. Fair one.
Not sure if it's been mentioned but I thought Jamie Moore was going to marmalise Ryan Rhodes.
I thought Josh Taylor was gonna lose to O'Hara Davies, I think quite a few had O Hara winning that before the fight.

josh-ohara was seen as 50-59 at the time wasnt it
