Broner is favourite, especially being the HBO darling , but he is more Jeff Lacy than Floyd Mayweather.

To write off The Rock is a mistake.

He isn't remotely phased by Broner, and Rees has a very unique but effective style. With those odds he has definitely worth a tenner.

Regardless, I will be cheering Gav on all the way.

Sorry, but you are overating Rees he's just not that good IMO end of.

Have you understood that "Eurooean class" means he'd be competitive with the best in Europe? I think that's hard to deny. He'd lose to Burns, but would give him a hard night, and it's hard not to see him knocking out Mitchell. Is the issue that you don't know the other top European lightweights?

I'm a big fan of Gavin Rees and I hope he gives a good account of himself. However, in my eyes Broner is some way above Jeff Lacy. He's surprisingly difficult to hit despite standing right in front of his opponents and even when he does get clipped his chin seems sound. I can't see this going past six rounds but I hope Rees proves me wrong.

i think gavs squat stocky physique will actually be in his favour, if he gets his head on broners chest and windmills away broner may find it hard to hit him, gave has thick limbs and neck.

are you retarded or something? He's a former WORLD champion and holds the EBU lightweight title - He is the current EUROPEAN CHAMPION, its not a case of him impressing its a case of him being the European champion FACT as you like to say; how can he not be European class?

He may not be as good as he was bbut he obviously was euro and world level once surely to have held the belts.

Broner-Reece was nowhere near as bad as that.
