It is, therefore, inappropriate to suggest that cases like Honeyghan-Curry greatly limit the relevance of Rees's comparable shortcomings and lack of high level wins.
Earlier you said that Broner hasn't proved anything to you, but will he have proved something positive about himself to you if he wins nearly every round and stops Rees, who is someone you consider a good boxer?
If he stops Rees and dominates then it is his best win, imo.
Demarco offered himself up like a meal to a starving man, he hardly seemed to try.
Broner ( withou the mouth) would be a good fighter, his mouth and the GBP hype machine has cowned him King way too soon.
And remember Broner 'beat' the same Ponce who was stopped on a round vs Lopez.
Broner beat a smaller slower man from a weight below Broner weighed 144lbs on the night to Ponce 136. Rees might not win, I think he will do well but lose, but he has a decent chance imo.

you only have to look at andy lees fight last week to know that if someone jumps on you from the bell and puts it on you, no matter how slick you are, its hard to deal with. come on gavin, windmill the cocky bastard, spank the septic tank!!

Ha ha! He's not THAT bad. Irritating at times yes but that's as far as I'd go. His drinking at the weigh in made me laugh. He is only 23 too.
