He certainly is, and I couldn't be happier for Alex Leapai, one of my favourites.

You left out Ike Ibeabuchi, who is at 20-0-0 with 15 KO's. If he chooses to fight again, after recently being released from prison.

My boy Michael Wallisch successfully defended his German title a few weeks ago. I'm gonna win this thing if Wallisch stays on the domestic level. :DDD

UPDATE

Eliminations

Somebody's 0 - and place in the contest - had to go on Jan 25 when Bryant Jennings (DetroitHXC) and Artur Szpilka (arthur2011) collided. In the event, Jennings got the win to stay in, and Szpilka is eliminated.

Amir Mansour (Lackeos) has been bumped out after losing to Steve Cunningham on April 5.

Other results

Deontay Wilder (Diamond WEAPON) kept his perfect streak going and is now 31-0 (31) after beating Malik Scott on Mar 15. (Side note -Wilder is now WBC mandatory contender and will meet the winner of Stiverne-Arreola, who contest the vacant title on May 10).

Kubrat Pulev (bengulnaci1) marked time as he awaits a world title opportunity, beating Ivica Perkovic on April 6. He is now 20-0.

Luis Ortiz (HyacinthusTurnipseed) passed arguably his biggest test on April 3, stopping veteran Monte Barrett to go to 21-0-0-1 and stay in the running.

German champion Michael Wallisch (Belanio) retained his title and his unbeaten record on March 1 when he stopped Frank Schadwill (also undefeated but not in the competition). He is now 12-0.

Mike Perez (jammidodger) scraped a draw on Jan 18 against Carlos Takam. The blemish does not eliminate him, as he didn't lose.

Tyson Fury (ReggieDiggs) came back from a 10-month layoff to stop Joey Abell on Feb 15 and improve to 22-0.

Vyacheslav Glazkov (SJM122) scored his career-best win on Mar 15, outscoring Tomasz Adamek to go to 17-0-1 and enter world class.

Schedule

Andy Ruiz (rampage) treads water with a contest against Manuel Quezada on May 17.

Bryant Jennings (Detroit HXC) and Mike Perez (jammidodger) engage in another battle of the unbeatens, with an elimination guaranteed (barring a draw) on May 24.

Lucas Browne (Stinger) challenges for the vacant Commonwealth title vs Eric Martel Bahoeli on April 26.

Tyson Fury (ReggieDiggs) rematches Dereck Chisora in a WBO world title eliminator on Jul 26.

Inactive

Robert Helenius (clopixolacuphase) has been moved to the inactive bench, since he has not fought since March 23, 2013. This does not eliminate him from the competition, but it renders him ineligible to win until he fights again. If he comes back while the competition is still active, he will re-enter.

Again, don't forget about Ike Ibeabuchi! Put him down as my undefeated heavyweight. Who knows, he might resurface in the next few months fighting out of Africa. And even if he would come in weighing around 280 lbs, I'd still pick him over half that is left in the field.

You can't have him. The point of the contest was all undefeated heavies in the Boxrec top 100 at the time of the launch of the contest. If we added new ones after the fact, the contest would never end.

I was waiting for this to happen! I picked him because I thought injury would keep him out long enough that all the others get beat, but I didn't think he'd be out so long. Maybe if he comes back after the layoff in time and fights tomato cans I could win this thing! Boy that Ferrari and all expenses paid trip to Barbados is gonna be soooooooo sweet!

It's funny to see month after month posters trying to add new unbeaten fighters and oliverfennel having to patiently re explain the rules. If we added new fighters it would go on for ever.

The man says, as he replies to such an unimportant topic on an internet forum.....

Relax, man. Everybody involved seems to be having a good time with it. Sorry you don't like it.

I think I started this fight by bringing in new names. My bad. Both the original sweepstakes and my input are flawed in the sense that we're both "eliminating" HWs because of one loss. If that were the case, Ross Puritty would have eliminated Wlad a long time ago. Regardless, I'm not interfering with the original intent of this. I'm just trying to figure out who the new sheriff is after the K brothers.
