Ive had digs at boxers myself in the past but i wouldnt go as far as keys did tonight
But Harrison IS A JOKE the crowd know it, anyone with a brain knows it. If you don't know know it then you're the one with out a clue. How long do we need to have this joke in the sport?
A presenter is meant to tell it like it is, whether that's disrespectful or not is beside the point he doesn't need to sugar coat it.
Keys went as far as he felt was necessary. He didn't say it was easy to get between the ropes but for the amount Audley is getting it's a disgrace the number of chances he's getting...and the way he's being defended! He fleeced us with the Haye fight and now it appears he can fleece us again because we're not allowed to hurt his feelings!
He's "risking his life" for his pay day not our entertainment. I think many of us wouldn't shed a tear if he retired.
And about being stopped by 3 hard punchers it's the fact he did NOTHING against any of them. It's all well and good about being over-whelmed by a guy like Valero but Audley was never over-whelmed from the opening bell he just did nothing in all 3 of those bouts.
You say about how much he was being paid but I doubt his purse for tonight was anything that special! On top of that its probably not worth getting punched in the face by a guy like Wilder who is a seriously hard punching heavyweight.

His purse is still more than he'd be getting by not fighting anyone. His pay day for Haye was also huge...and that's with out even thinking about the way he did over the BBC.

Yeah but with getting that money comes getting hit in the head/face very hard by a huge guy. Its not all that really!

Personally I think they should get an ex pro to take the seat and replace Keys, you'd get a far more professional question and answer session between he and the pro fighters.
Jamie Moore is good TV.

Put it like this , id guess Harrison got around 10k at the most for that , if hes lucky .
5 weeks of training works out at 2k per week ,
If he was a footballer he would maybe get that playing for someone like crawley , so if a crawley player got skinned by suarez against liverpool in a cup match and was left on his arse , would that player be bringing football into disrepute ? no they wouldnt , just one player was obviously better than the other , and those players arent taking punches in the face for that pay either .

Getting punched in the head by Wilder for 10k isnt really worth it either! Ha

The casual boxing fan considers audrey a bum and in this case i agree with them he's a disgrace.

He doesn't help himself does he? Keeping his gob shut would help but he has never got his
head around that.

theres already a thread on this but i fully agree that hes an arrogant prick who dont know enough about boxing to host a brawl outside a bar let alone televised boxing .
He used to host boxing on sky way back in the mid 90's. He was better then. His arrogance on champions league nights about foreign leagues used to annoy me but last night the way he was trying to shout down David Price was absurd and insulting. He's meant to chair the opinions of the experts. Not pretend he is one.

Price got the better of the exchange to his credit.

BN already has too pigs with Bunce and Lillis. So, why don't we hire a guy with no boxing background who got saked from sky for saying he'd bang some bird and women linos are shite? And we want more women taking up/watching boxing?

Harrison has done more for that sport of boxing in the UK than arguably any boxer post Bruno.
He has guts but the reflexes against much younger guys with good speed is not there.
Hopefully he gets a win on a lower level and retires.
He has my respect as do ALL fighters whether they be 4 rounders or world champs.
As men I know very few but I know it takes something very few possess up get into that squared circle.
As for Keys? You are a poo talking knob. Allegedly.

Don't think Moore is ready to host a live show yet but he would be a good co pilot to Steve lillis.
Johnny Nelson is still struggling at times on ringside so it's harder than it looks.
When Moore speaks I listen as he knows what goes on in the ring.
Audley should be a pundit also.

The transition from pundit to anchor is tough.... remeber John Barnes got a huge contract from Channel 5 based on his punditary on ITV.... couldn't read the autocue.
Moore's debut as an anchor on Loaded wasn't the most comfortable viewing. Not sure if Lillis will be much better judging by his segment he did on allegedly in the states (Bunce and Bell taking the piss out of it was class!).
Whats wrong with Jim Rosenthal doing it every time!
I thought Keys was a little over the top, but I think the point he was trying to make is that Audley gets paid thousands for effing up all the time. Compare his bank balance to that of Sam Webb's as an example.... is that fair? Compare it to someone like Matt Skelton also?
I liked what David Price said in general, but when he said "I don't care how much Audley is getting paid".... well the public do. They are the ones paying to watch him and his redemption talk.
Lillis was wrong to say Audley won't fight in the UK again.... off course he will. He has shown that he is prepared to fight off tv against a lower level oppostion. UK promoters will pick him up in the hope that the public will come to see him get KO'd.

i thought Keys went too far and it was a bit painful at times when he was attacking harrison, price did a great job of keeping his cool and answering honestly and professionally.
With regards to Harrison, someone mentioned he would be a good pundit and i think i agree with that. He certainly knows how to talk up fights etc and without the pressure of actually having to get in the ring anymore i think his confidence would come back in front of the camera, i think he could be quite charasmatic in fact as a pundit.

When your anchoring a live broadcast and someone has been destroyed in 1 minute, then you cannot be as heavy-handed and personal as Keys was tonight.
He should leave the Audley-bashing to us lot on the forums, and stick with acting in a professional manner when in front of the cameras.

Keys was only stating what most layman viewers are thinking. It was bit rough, but it made good viewing.
Audley looked a broken man afterwards.
However, if I`ve learned one thing in life, it`s that REDEMPTION will take place.
Audley to knock out Fury in a domestic battle of the ages, where Audley traqdes blow for blow in the centre of the ring and topples Fury in a barnstormer. Then he get`s a shot a Vitali and knocks him spark out with a left hand piledriver. Redemption is complete and Audley is Champion of the Wuuuuuuuuuurld.
Can he do it? YES HE CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think Audley will be well aware what Danny Williams is going through at the moment, and will not want to completely follow in those footsteps. Undoubtedly he will get a lot of offers for fights, from places like Germany where they have a lot of prospects to build up. I imagine those offers will be hard to turn down. He'll win some, he'll lose some. And I imagine like a lot of fighters these days he will continue to fight well into his mid-40's

In my opinion Audley could have got up, yes Wilder is a big puncher but he didn't hit him with a great punch and it looked like Audley didnt want to get up, easy pay day for him. I feel let down by him.
