I agree with that, tbh. Haye's the obvious choice but h2h I'd fancy Price to beat them all.
His best win to date is Sam Sexton who he beat in 5 rounds.lillywhite14 wrote:Has he banged out anyone of note yet?Chambers2 wrote:Haye's the easy pick, but I've gone for Pricey. He's got his vulnerabilities, but when you can bang like he does!!!!
Always a question worth asking! He looks powerful but he hasn't stopped anyone who hasn't been done before ( Dallas being the exception )
No way, not with that chin.Karl Jade wrote:I agree with that, tbh. Haye's the obvious choice but h2h I'd fancy Price to beat them all.
Certain I'll get some stick for this but I think Bruno would have got Haye out of there very quickly, 1-2 rounds.Maxsplit wrote:David Haye though is the best British heavyweight by some distance and probably second only to Lennox Lewis of all time
However is Price gonna beat Haye ? he cant even take a cuff up the side of the ear or beat Thompson FFSKarl Jade wrote:I agree with that, tbh. Haye's the obvious choice but h2h I'd fancy Price to beat them all.
I'm a Haye fan but he's only had six fights at HW and against not the greatest opposition (bar Wlad obviously). I don't think you can put him ahead of the likes of Bruno and Bugner on that basis.warriorbox wrote:Certain I'll get some stick for this but I think Bruno would have got Haye out of there very quickly, 1-2 rounds.Maxsplit wrote:David Haye though is the best British heavyweight by some distance and probably second only to Lennox Lewis of all time
He's strangely reticent with the jab, yet willing to step in with the right hand. Odd, when he says that the Klitschkos are the model he hopes to follow.lillywhite14 wrote:Price fights "too small". Doesn't take advantage of his reach, the jab needs work considering it could be a great weapon given his size. Doesn't deal well with pressure. Footowrk isnt the best. He has a lot missing I think. His power is the equaliser.Newport Daz wrote:If Price had even an average chin I'd be tempted to say him. He seems to have everything going for him but I just can't have any confidence in his chin. So I went for Haye instead.
But in your heart of hearts do you honestly believe fury beats haye ?keithmoonhangover wrote:Fury.![]()

If he fights at his best, yes. Haye is on the way down.jessi wrote:But in your heart of hearts do you honestly believe fury beats haye ?keithmoonhangover wrote:Fury.![]()

No offence but no way! Fury makes to many mistakes which Haye would Capitalise on. Getting hit by Haye like he did Cunningham would probably mean curtains, and if not, Haye would just jump all over him after the count.keithmoonhangover wrote:If he fights at his best, yes. He can duck Pulev AND Haye and fight another small weak dude
He can pick Pulev in Eliminator - if he wins, he can fight haye, Wladimir or most likely, withdraw his mandatory
he can pick Haye for 10X more money in the fall.
A loss to Pulev means back to the beginning, a risk we will not take
He already ducked Haye
and he will not fight Wlad
Its painfully obvious he gonna fight some fighter on the way down

Lol. I don't know, the Bruno vs Tyson 1, or the first couple of rounds against Lewis would be a match for any heavyweight in todays age. Would Haye last 6 rounds against a near peak Mike Tyson - I have serious doubts.the truth wrote:warriorbox wrote:Certain I'll get some stick for this but I think Bruno would have got Haye out of there very quickly, 1-2 rounds.Maxsplit wrote:David Haye though is the best British heavyweight by some distance and probably second only to Lennox Lewis of all time
Hahaha yeah you will , Haye far to athletic and powerful , would land at willing Bruno and stop him
I said 'near peak'the truth wrote:Did Bruno last 6 rounds against a " peak" Tyson ? When? Because when he boxed Tyson in 89 he was passed his " peak"
When since was Tyson past his peak in '89?the truth wrote:Did Bruno last 6 rounds against a " peak" Tyson ? When? Because when he boxed Tyson in 89 he was passed his " peak"
Not sure Haye has achieved more at heavyweight? I would say they are pretty even right now, I would fancy Bruno to make quick work of the Ruiz that turned up for the Haye fight or Monte Barrett that got chinned by Cliff flippin Couser and Chisora - Valuev maybe a different story as I don't think Bruno would have had the boxing smarts to deal with him although Valuev wasn't really a big puncher or a busy fighter, so who knows.lillywhite14 wrote:Bruno Haye is a pick em. Both carry enough to take out the other.
Haye has achieved more in his career though so should rank higher.
