khans last two fights.... a ko4 loss to a younger fighter, who himself has yet to fight the best, and a narrow win against a career lightweight who was brought in to look good against.

khans best wins...kotelnik,malignaggi, and judah....all three past it a long time before they faced khan.

the only time khan really put it on the line against a hard punching tough nut his own size , and who was still fresh , was against maidana....and he did limp across the line. i, ll give him credit for that...but come on...maidana is a limited brawler.

bradley, alexander, brook, mathysse, mayweather,paq, ortiz, berto, guerrero,peterson, abregu, are just the first handful of fighters i can think of , who would beat khan. im sure there are plenty more ...

I agree this time.we should give Khan the benefit of the doubt even if he is very deluded

Malignaggi went on to win the WBA welterweight title, Kotelnik went on to beat Alexander on most people's scorecards and Judah performed respectably against Garcia in his last fight.

I dont think you can use Senchenko as too much of a measuring stick. He's a solid fighter but nothing special.

kotelnik has never fought since being beaten by khan then alexander. judah had already been beaten six times before he fought khan, and malignaggi four times..including a heavy beating from ricky hatton. these three are all good fighters, but none were ever close to being elite, or in any way dominant world champs.

That's not fair, Khan also put it on the line against a hard punching tough nut his own size when he fought Breidis Presco- oh.

Well, at least he accounted himself well in the fi- oh.

But, at least he was a gentleman afterwards, and didn't transfer the guilt onto anyone el- oh.

The reality is Khan has some good world class wins.

what makes you think all those fighters could beat khan? - Ortiz lost to maidana, brook hasnt yet had a convincing win on the world stage, berto lost to ortiz, peterson should have lost the decision against khan, alexander scraped past kotelnic, and whats abregu done?

Khan will be facing bigger men when he moves up, even if he is weight drained, it's not like he ever had a sturdy chin, and against bigger punchers, he's going to be in trouble.

He also lacks the power at the weight he is at - let alone at a higher weight.

Khan will win some, he will lose some, but he will never dominate any division, that much has been clear for a long time now.

The bottom line is that Khan is a talented fighter with a glass jaw. So long as he can avoid the big punches, he can be effective and exciting. However, if you can get to his chin, he becomes average.

Why?

Moving up in weight wont strengthen Khans chin or defence.... but he's not liable to fight anyone with anything resembling a punch till he gets his payoff fight with Mayweather.....
