Have always been quite sure of it being the latter. Just never imagined in going into the final quarter.
for me, rees' craftiness and peskiness early, and murray's strength in the middle, and the later stages give 'n take with a marked up murray having more left than rees, as he tires.

how would you predict crolla v murray, a potentially sensational fight?

Crolla is getting more undeserved credit than Mitchell at the moment.

Well, simply put Crolla has earned his shot more than Ricky did pre-Martinez with his wins against Kevin O Hara, Michael Gomez and Youseff Al Hamidi.

Crolla just beat the man ranked six by the Ring (apparently) That earns him a shot at a top name, whether it is liked on here or not

There's no one begrudges Crolla a damn thing, he is a fine boxer and a nice man but he squeaked past Rees, many thought he'd lost and he is top domestic class at proven best. The Lightweight crown is not a UK affair; Crolla ought to box an eliminator v a top international contender then a shot is warranted.

I respect your opinion, but for me, when you beat the man ranked NUMBER SIX in the Ring world rankings, you have beaten your top opponent. Crolla shouldn't have to jump through extra hoops.

This isn't a case of Crolla beating a Hispanic no-one has ever heard of (and never will again} to get him into the top 15. He has beaten a guy that is considered elite.

That's where I am anyway

Crolla is a joke of an opponent for a world champion to fight. He should have to jump through more hoops, because he is clearly unworthy of a world title shot. Who in the hell thought Rees was elite?

Ex world champion, long time European champion, Ring number six

We know you are trolling, but you need to do better than this, too obvious.

But you do strike on a point. There is an idea on here that Crolla is not that good, so to prove he is worthy to some, he must beat a number of challengers. It is actually amusing.

Even then, some will moan

You think that makes Rees elite? You call me a troll because I disagree? Get the hell out of here you deranged lunatic.

Crolla drew with Mathews in his last fight and he deserves a world title shot? Crolla has nothing to challenge Burns, he will be demolished.

Its the beating the Ring number six, ex world champion and European king, that means he has beaten a top contender...maybe your criteria is different....

Yeah...he just beats the Ring number six, then has to drop down to face Martin fecking Gethin....words fail me

Seriously, if beating the man who is ranked six in the unofficial ranking doesn't make Crolla OK for a challenge to someone, I don't know what will.

Maybe getting in his time machine like Bill and Ted, then going back in time to face the Duran who beat Buchanan?

The man was ranked six in the unofficial world ranking, I would love to know what does make a top contender in your rankings (considering four of the top six are bloody champions)

Crolla is not above fighting for the British title.

Do you work for Hearn? Your pro-Crolla propaganda is far too much.

Did you have Rees winning by much last night? I feel a rematch would go the same way. I don't Think "the Rock" has the motivation anymore.(Did he ever have it?)

You have nothing worth discussing. The only man above Rees who didn't have a title is DeMarco. Now do people think that any man who wants to fight for any of the four titles has to beat Demarco?

As I said, you have a line and just repeat it to try and get a hook...actually is quite tedious.

Who did Rees beat to be considered 'elite'? I had Rees ranked at No. 21 in the British P4P rankings last month, he is not an 'elite' fighter.

Crolla barely scraped by Rees after losing and drawing with Mathews. Crolla doesn't deserve a world title shot.

Not going to bite any more on this (Though maybe you should contact the Ring and take over, as obviously the global brand had Rees higher), but I will ask you a serious question.

Did you think Ricky Burns deserved his chance when he fought Martinez?

Yada, yada, yada. I'm a troll because I don't think Crolla deserves a shot at Burns based on his pretty awful recent form.

That has to be one of the weakest reasons to call someone a troll I have ever seen. Lolz.
