Please not Harrison again. We dont need Harrison winning it and then some believing he's on a roll and then proceeds to lose to the next half decent prospect he fights. Saying that though, I wouldnt mind seeing a Harrison-Price rematch.

I hope the winner is still to be announced though because that will be pretty disappointing if Sexton wins it.
How about chucking Kimbo Slice in there as the novelty fighter or does Toney take up that spot?
I'm thinking maybe Steve Cunningham. He's 37 and lost 4 of his last 5 fights. I'm not too sure how many opportunities he'll have back home unless he drops down to the likes of ESPN Friday Night Fights. Seeing he was over sparring with Fury recently, maybe that allowed Matchroom the chance to get in his ear for this one.
Talking about Fury, why not Hughie Fury? Maybe a little soon however it would certainly give him the test people are shouting for. If he wins it, it puts 3 wins on his record over night and puts him in contention for the likes of the British and Commonwealth title. If he is serious about winning the world title inside Tysons record, and was serious about wanting to face Tony Thompson, then why not? He'd need to face old season pro's like Cunningham and Toney somewhere in the next 12 months anyway.

Just noticed that Sam Sexton and Sherman Williams where supposed to be involved in the WBC World Cup of boxing, which has been cancelled due to Jose Sulaiman being ill. American Eric Molina was also supposed to participate. I would not be surprised to see him confirmed by Eddie as the next American participant.

What effect does Jose Sulaiman having the shits have on two men fighting in a ring?

From Fight News:
"The decision to pull the plug on the tournament for six months is to show a sign of respect and solidarity to President Jose Sulaiman, as he recovers from his very recent heart surgery at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.
Sulaiman worked tirelessly for several years in bringing the World Cup to its inception, and WBC decision makers feel for him not to be part of this historic event would be unfair to his efforts, and to the family and friends who love and support him during his recovery. The postponement would allow Sulaiman to be involved in all the activities of the tournament when he’s back in action."

I have Audley on my facebook. Last night he posted "not taking part in the next Prizefighter.... but we all know what would happen if I did"
I immediately commented "what, a first round stoppage ?". Its gone down like a lead balloon with a couple of his fans.

He's down to defend his English strap against Lewison on the 30th November.
On the date search, it says Toney, Sherman, Sexton, Larry, Tom Little and Matt Legg. Looks like Brian Minto is in, so just room for one more US fighter. The combined age of the US fighters is all ready higher than all 4 of the UK fighters with still one more to be added. We might have to have a tea break between the Quarter finals and the semi's for the old boys.

Who are Tom Little & Matt Legg? Looks like they are struggling to get guys in. I would have thought they could have got someone like Tom Dallas, Gary Cornish, Michael Sprott or Matt Skelton or even David Price.
James Toney
Sherman Williams
Steve Cunningham
Brian Minto
Sam Sexton
Larry whatshisface
Tom Dallas
Matt Skelton
would have been half decent in my opinion. But now i'm starting to think James Toney is going to win.
