Groves did turn around like an idiot, stumbling into the ref.

Froch will say that he was going to win all along and the stoppage was legit ... and that's why I don't like him.

They gotta have a rematch to this. Groves performed too damn well to get stopped like that and not get a rematch. They definitely need a different ref next time as well.

cant say the ref cheated and was criminal cause he favored Groves throughout....he even deliberately stalled when froch had him against the ropes with forearm..he talked to froch for 10 seconds to give groves rest..he just made an error

Outstanding fight. Amazing froch fought on from that kd.
Actually froch looked like he'd taken damage to his brain. He made some gitters with his right leg a couple of times in the second round when unprovoked. And in general looked off with weird movements.
But ok, a kd like that of course leaves you stunned for wide span of time.

But wauv groves fought good in there. And took some hits and held up well.
Ref must have rated groves out when calling that. Groves imminent reaction tells a different story imo.
But the wind was blowing carls way at the time of the stoppage.
Froch looked way of his usual self so i cant really figure out if Groves just skipped up a few levels and finds himself at the no. 2 position at smw or just looked that good and got away with it due to frochs poor efforts ?
Maybe froch should quit now. That kind of beating to the head aint good for you. GGG kills him within a minute if he shows up like that.

I really don't see how Froch won 4 rounds. He was getting hit with clean shots repeatedly and didn't start connecting well until the end of the fight.

I gave him 2 as well and I can maybe see a third, but no way could I give him half of the rounds.

One thing we can all agree on fella's is that Whilst Groves was winning that fight, what a fornicating chin Froch has got?! He got hit with consecutive huge punches which you could were seriously powerful! Also Groves showed he could take a punch aswell!

Watt was like Lampley on nuthugging steroids today. That was one of the worst commentating performances I've ever seen to go with one of the worst stoppages. Both fighters got screwed.

Groves is the real deal, he wasn't ready to handle Froch over 12 but he could be next time.

Watt sucks so bad it makes my nuts hurt. Groves might have made it through 12, maybe not. Outrageous decision by the referee. Thanks god the first 9 were awesome. I'll send them both a thanking postcard. fornicating warriors. Ill go for more beers.

garbage stoppage
one thing I can say on froch's behalf is that he got blasted full force on the button
so many times and was able to shake the effects off. any one of those shots
would have dropped a few world ranked guys. groves can hit and also box
pretty well and was way ahead in that fight. garbage stoppage

this was because he punched himself out hopefully he doesn't do it again in rematch groves has always been good second time round Adam booth says but he does tire in later in most of his fights that have gone late on prediction for froch groves 2 groves stoppage early i reckon the 5th
