Just curious....how are familiar with Leroy's history? I only ask because you appear to be a new contributor.

Now if it's simply on the assumption that everything Il Duce says is wrong....well, I'm not going to find great fault with that....however I'm curious if you have anything more substantial.

I would very very upset if Il Duce's 'facts' are lies as this has a personal interest to me. I'm not saying it is, just with his given track record it is a possibility. There seems to be very little still on post Holmes...

Yeah....and if one contributor is going to say that we are having our leg pulled....(which is entirely possible) I'm just wondering if we have anyone with some alternative info.

Leroy Jones, like Jeff Merritt, is one of those characters who post boxing simply dropped off the map. With Merritt there is that one infamous anecdote from Jack Newfield relating to the Tyson/Ruddock weigh in. With Leroy Jones there is nothing, never has been anything, and anyone who has been looking out for word on Leroy Jones for 20 years knows there has never been anything, not the slightest bit of information on him ever.

... And now in 2013 a man on the internet quite remarkably surfaces with news on Leroy Jones that neither journalists or fighters could ever find. He doesn't provide any sources whatsoever, and the rest of his body of work on the forum reveals that the man is a pathological liar who makes up stories, invents quotes and smear fighters. And judging by his activity it is something that consumes every hour of his day.

There is no discussion or debate here. If you want to believe this Il Duce drivel then you must be incomprehensibly suggestible. I'm astonished by how gullible some people are.

I know you can't prove anything you wrote about Leroy Jones because it is fiction, and I can see you have been asked hundreds of times in other threads for sources and all you ever do is respond with infantile name-calling. I'll take hard evidence over the word of a man who spends all day writing fiction on a boxing forum, names himself after history's most inept dictator and seems to be battling a latent sexual attraction to Muhammad Ali in public. Your life is painfully dull and it shows in your writing.

The problem is you have been a pathological liar so far on this forum so nobody knows whether to believe you or not.

I wrote on this forum as a personal favour for someone and I cannot report anything back as i do not know what is true and what is BS....

Pointless....once again many many posters have reported all this fiction being detrimental to history and fact but the moderators have said it is fine.
Now I have a genuine situation to help someone and I have had response back but do not not what is the truth.

Hey controversial....does the birth date, and geography match up? I think it does. You may have the right Leroy Jones there.....and from there if someone is truly interested you can begin to "work back" from that info....and maybe latch onto some reality about his later years.

Who knows, this could be one of those times where Il Duce's stopped clock lands on that one time of day when he has it right.

It does suck that the big Duce rocks back and forth on the credibility scale. All you can do is guess.

Yes the birth and deceased date match so looks good. I'm not sure if anyone can do anything with a social security number?

Well, if one is genuinely interested, you can call the funeral home to begin with.....no info is protected after death, so you can request info from there and begin to sleuth your way back. This is how family can find out things after we have passed. All the laws that protect info, goes to bed after our death. Even including HIPAA info.

So if you go into reporter mode, much can be ascertained if you have the will, and the wallet to do so.
