I'd give the 3rd to Soto-Karass

I thought it was real close too. Thurman definitely took the 4th though.

4-0 or 3-1 Thurman would make sense to me.

Even though Thurman is getting the better of it so far, Karass is keeping the pressure on and making Thurman have to work his ass off to take these rounds. One sided on the scorecards perhaps, but not in the ring.

Karass is a machine, coming forward after being down and hurt.

Still, that's a 10-8 round for Thurman

Big shot scoring a knockdown for Thurman. With the pressure that Karass continues putting on, that 10-8 round might be crucial later in the bout.

Thurman takes the 6th, but Karass is still coming. If Thurman doesn't stop him in the next few rounds, I get the feeling he'll really have hell down the stretch.

I think Karass is facing too much firepower, don't think he'll be able to come on late like he did against Berto.

I actually think he's the one getting worn down.

Thurman takes the 8th as well.

Tough as he is, I don't know how much longer Karass will continue to be able to compete at this level. He takes a lot of punishment in all of his fights win or lose. Gutsy as they come, but he takes a lot of punishment.

Some real, real nasty shots to finish the fight there. Karass definitely looked like he had slowed down and didn't have much left to give. Great fight, Great win for Thurman.

For his sake, Soto Karass' management needs to get him an easy fight next time out. He's had tough opponents one after another for a long time now. He deserves to fight a few cans.

Yeah that was some brutal shots there at the end. Karass was definitely gonna hit the canvas hard if not for the ref catching him there.

Thurman has real power. I'd like to see Thurman take on the winner of Maidana-Broner after this fight.

Thurman's a fun guy to watch. I wouldn't mind seeing him against any of the big names at 147. He's definitely in the mix with the elite now.

Thurman took his chances really well, every time he stunned SK he followed it up and tried to get max value out of the situation. Too many fighters admire their work or leave a guy like SK in there and try and coast to a decision. Good to see Thurman look for the KO even when he was well up on the cards.

Thurman would brutalize Broner. The only people I think could beat Thurman at WW are Mayweather, Pacquiao, Bradley and Provodnikov.

Alright guys, I'm always excited as all hell when Maidana fights so I'm gonna be watching every second of this one closely. I'll pop in every 3 rounds to give my scorecard.

Chino's my f*cking boy man. I hope he gets it done tonight!!!

Idk, I think Floyd sounds much more mature and intelligent, but I'm sure that has a lot to do with experience.

I like Broner, unlike a lot of people.
I like Broner to a lot of the time, but tonight he's fighting my boy Chino. So he can go f*ck himself. I hope he gets his face smashed in

x2

You got good taste brother. :salut:
I Love the guys that are just pure fighters. No BS. They just get in the ring and it's f*cking on. Those are the guys I always admire most. I only have to see a guy like that once or twice and I'm a die hard fan.

If you look at a list of my favorite fighters you can see they're all of the No BS...they're just coming to get it variety. That's the type of fighter I love. That's the type of fighter that made me love this sport in the first place.

Thurman would beat Provo....I'm about certain.
I wouldn't be so certain. Thurman is there to be hit, at times, and I don't think Ruslan would get worn down like SK. It would be a helluva fight.
If Provo tags Thurman clean he might be going to sleep. We haven't seen Provo hurt in his fights unlike Thurman. I'm not sure Thurman can keep Provo off of him as well as Bradley did, and Provo isn't quite as slow as Soto Karass.
