I've seen bits of it on allegedly while channel hopping and from what I saw he didn't seem to be hurt at any stage. The judges had it 120-107, 119-108 and 118-109, so he wasn't down, but Braithwaite was or had a point taken off.Riddick Blowe wrote:In hindsight it was quite an achievement for Enzo to beat someone like Brathwaite, a guy who you would have expected to be all wrong for him. No chance. Ive told him myself that Braithwaite, whilst not flawless, was his best win. He arguably did a better job than mormeck, hernandez and cunningham did.n1ebf wrote:
I never went as far as that - but I also tipped Maccarinelli for that one based on his tidy win against Braitwaite. I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
The Sun's boxing columnist who should replace FW.

it was a virtually punch perfect performance that night, from memory. Enzo's used to load up too much, if you look at all his wins nearly all are in 1, 2, 3....and most of his defeats have seen him walk right on to a big shot. Afolabi was all wrong for him, I was at that fight, a guy that can just hang on the ropes soaking up shots but can really bang. Really, really poor strategy in some of his fights, imho, which I'm surprised someone didn't try to iron out.

Enzo got ironed out plenty....oh, I see what you mean.n1ebf wrote:it was a virtually punch perfect performance that night, from memory. i was hoping for some insightful person to take the discussion forward in response to that post I made 2 days ago, and surprised when it never happened!

especially given the almost exclusive manner of all Enzo's defeats. Has he ever lost a fight on points. His name is almost synonymous with getting poleaxed - that in itself should have been picked up on. He's got a bit in common with another fighter, Martin Conception, who had many, many early nights in the amateurs, then got knocked-out as a pro a lot.

He had Braithwaite down from a counter left hook, also at one point knocked Braithwaites mouthpiece flying with a monster uppercut, that should have starched Wayne really, a very well disciplined performance from Enzo, and there were some pretty fiesty exchanges too but he was never really hurt
