He did.
He never mentioned retirement. Apparently he had a big gaping hole...in his shoulder which with wide eyed expressions had to be immediately operated & told he should never punch with it again. No photo evidence off Hayes X-rays or scans just him pretending to be asleep holding his kids laser pen.

To be fair he doesn't say he's going to fight again. He is the sort of bloke who would keep in shape regardless and presumably he needs to train to strengthen his shoulder (physio). Maybe that's all he meant, being healthy and fit doesn't mean he's going to fight again.
Plus he has never officially retired, I imagine he will review his position once he knows how the shoulder heals. Much the same with footballers, some suffer cruciate ligament damage and are told they
might not play football again. For some its a career ending injury, for others they recover and continue playing at the top level again.

If you look at his twitter photos when his in the bed the elevation pillow is under his right arm but in the next picture it's under his left arm and his got a plaster on his left shoulder. This had never made sense to me why would he have his uninjured arm elevated after surgery but then have it under the injured arm from then on? I'm not some conspiracy theorist but this has never made sense to me. Could everyone go on his twitter page and look for themselves and hopefully someone with medical experience can give me an answer

I don't think we should drag a doctor away from treating patients to explain the "mystery of the elevated elbow".

Not even a doctor anyone who has had shoulder surgery they might know why there's a need to elevate the uninjured arm

It's something to do with the picture software (like taking in a mirror) Twitter use, it was cleared up by IFL TV who use the software themselves.

There was an I-Film interview with Peter Fury a couple of months ago, and practically everything he said about Haye has come true.
Fury said that Haye had signed to fight Klitschko and the only way out of his fight with Tyson would be via injury - there probably was some injury, but Haye timed it well and elected to have the treatment.
Will have to wait and see if a fight between Haye and Klitschko is announced in the next couple of months.

Wouldn't give David Haye the steam of my piss.
Boxing is a better place without him.

It will be.
Vitaly is still WBC Champion emeritus (I know, I know.). Think that could come in to play yet.

I'll pop and see Tysons father in law in the morning but he didn't think that the fight would go through the first time. I hope Fury fights Wilder and Haye gets whatever he wants.

Some Russians are tweeting Povetkin-Haye may be in the works for April.
Povetkin's promoter Ryabinskiy is backed by some wealthy people so it could mean big money for Haye.

i'd love to see haye give boxing 100% for say 2/3 years . not worry about the politics or the easiest money rather just fight the best fighter out there like pulev, fury and wilder and see how good haye is at heavy weight.
i think with the heavy weight class so open with out the klits now is a great time to be a GOOD heavyweight.

I was gonna say. The site on the outskirts of Bath is rough as a tramps arse.

Can the mods do the honours please, he is an obvious WUM.

Why don't you be a man and accept that you keep getting banned.
You were banned as Tom Ford, you were banned as Groove Armada and you'll end up getting banned as Power777.
Why not take the hint?

New year means I can bet again. I'm allowing myself off 200 quid for the year. Povetkin would beat Haye.

It'd surprise me greatly if Fury were to agree to another date with Haye; he isn't in a bad position himself and can pick a good bout for himself.

They aren't that stupid, they know Haye is the biggest fight by a mile for Tyson right now, and will be desperate to make the fight (despite what they might say in public)

Theres no doubt Fury has more supporters of the back of Hayes 2 postponements
That seemed to help him in the popularity stakes more so than the ingenius tweets
