Alhamdulillah!
Look at Clay with all the soulless celebrities. Gross!
Holmes, the better man in and out of the ring.

That wasn't predictable was it?

Nor imaginative..
I love Larry too so no dissing him. Watched his fight with Holyfield last night. What a great performance considering his best had passed 10 years before....

Holmes was a great fighter, and as far as I can tell a nice guy, who took no pleasure in the manner of his win over Ali. One of only a few who even deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence.

I like Holmes too, but he is the definition of a grouchy curmudgeon at times....lol.

There seems to be a lot of viciousness in those punches, and hate in the eyes.
Maybe he became a Black Minister to get out of the..................... ;;-)
There is a word for you.....but it may not have been found yet.
Bold, Honest, Accurate, Correct..........etc.
Well, yes, and I of course appreciate your admiration.
But yet....as good as you may believe my language skills can be, I am still striving to find the work that accurately captures your spirit. "Insidious" is my best offering this far, but I'm searching the unabridged English handbook in my continued quest.
Should I discover it, I will report at some unspecified time in the future.

His ability to absorb punishment, may well be another trait that few others could equal much less surpass. But that alone could not get him past Larry at this point in his degrading skill level. Which by this time was about where Larry was at when Butterbean floored him.

Agreed.
Though I don't think Clay would've ever beaten Holmes. Well, not in legit fashion.
