Give a watch to Andy Ruiz Jr's fight against Greer, that was vicious body punching from the rotund MexicanThereByTheGrace wrote:Me too it was good to see.handsofstone wrote:I must admit I love any fighter who throws to the body especially a HW.

He certainly isn't in bad condition, but lets not make out he is in really good condition. He could easily lose a stone.columbo wrote:I was thinking the same loljameswilson wrote:No fat on him Peter?

Re: Copperbox bill RBR
Yeah he's not exactly fat by any stretch but his body fat % looks fairly high. He could do with losing some of the lard and replacing it with muscle.jameswilson wrote:He certainly isn't in bad condition, but lets not make out he is in really good condition. Collins should use his jab instead of trying to brawl his way to victory

Collins looks...as 1-dimensional as they come. Shame as he seems to have a good jab when he actually throws the damned thing!

His dad rarely threw a jab as well and he didn't do too badly. Collins is very raw.Boxing Prospect wrote:Collins looks...as 1-dimensional as they come. Shame as he seems to have a good jab when he actually throws the damned thing!

Re: Copperbox bill RBR
he's a tough cookie though isnt he, and he's switching from being a rugby player, could turn out quite decent.

Good call Finn. Collins is only 23 3 or 4 more years at this level I think.Finn wrote:he's a tough cookie though isnt he, and he's switching from being a rugby player, could turn out quite decent.

Draw was a fair result there 38/38
Re: Copperbox bill RBR
Collins Jnr is raw, but the jab looks good and there's no doubting his toughness. He needs regular fights and good sparring since he only started fighting last year and he needs to stop playing rugby, can't be good for his body and the extra muscle needed for it definitely doesn't help him, should get down to light heavyweight where his strength will make a bigger distance.

Did Rosenthal just say York Hall was banged out next week with 5,000 tickets sold?

See I like 'boxers' and Frankie Gavin is up there with my favourite british fighters present, but Skeete is dull as hellhandsofstone wrote:You thought were sleepy watching Collins Jr and Gifford, you know who's next lolcolumbo wrote:

I can't do it, I'm not sure it's possible to sit through 12 rounds of Bradley Skeete, I'm not even going to try, he's too bloody boring, even his face looks dull.
Re: Copperbox bill RBR
I recognise the guy sat behind Warren but cant for the life of me think of his name ![[icon_witsend.gif] :witzend:](./images/smilies/icon_witsend.gif)
Re: Copperbox bill RBR
I'm the same, I love watching pure boxers, although I do like a good tear up, but Skeete's neither, he just prances around, flicks the jab out and slips the odd punch and he has no power. No idea how he sells tickets, to me seeing him come to the ring would be the cue to head for the bar.columbo wrote:See I like 'boxers' and Frankie Gavin is up there with my favourite british fighters present, but Skeete is dull as hellhandsofstone wrote:You thought were sleepy watching Collins Jr and Gifford, you know who's next lolcolumbo wrote:

Skeete, the most exciting fighter in world boxing. This guy is a star in the making. He makes Golovkin look like John Ruiz. Yay for Super Skeete!
