Again a thread ruined by Billy Nelson starting his talk! I wish my brothers would just ignore him! I understand they are just trying to defend me but hey! I have no idea what I have done for you to talk me down! I asked a simple question! I never disrespected Michael Roberts once! I still really like Ricky Burns, John Simpson and David Brophy! I had Alex Morrison on my page saying I refused a fight with John Simpson which is complete lies!!! I offered them on the 12th April a fight in a Paisley but again they ain't replied! Why all the lies!?! Why try and make me out to be a fool or scared?! I really don't care what people think, either love me or hate me, just don't tell lies!!!

I offered the fights and again no reply! Will they try giving me a days notice ;)

People pay good money to watch fights and the only fights that will be competitive is

Excuse me between 2 opponents Ronnie had they've lost 144 fights ffs, in Ronnies last fight he fout a guy with a record of 4-5
At least Jamie Ambler has been in with top names in his division and even took the current british champ the distance in his last fight, bit of a difference Jamie boy

Brophy has never fought anyone with a positive record and you slate Ronnie.. Hypocrite... and you know it as you went and had a look and calculated records before I even replied. Ronnie has fought 4 people with a positive record, one with a 4 and 5 record and Doug Curran. We dont justify Ronnie's poor fights. He had limited amateur career and still has took more risky fights.

Ive never said john was with me when you were offered the fight TWICe, Simpson knows you were offered it but even now doesnt see any point in fighting you simply coz your not at his level and beating you wouldnt take his career forward.
Ive read you think you will win a world title,come on Ronnie look what happened when you sparred with the big gloves on against a world class fighter, you were hurt with head and body shot several times and you really need to get out the habit of repeateadly saying good shot!when you get hit flush.

David doesnt make himself out the next great hope, brophy will acheive more in boxing coz hes a grafter,super fit and improving considerable

Billy let's make this clear..

1) Tony used to offer Ronnie fights on 1 weeks notice sometimes less.. Yes He refused Simpson initially but Tony phoned me and I spoke to Ronald and he decided to say yes!! Same day this was.. The offer was win/lose or draw there would be a rematch in March in Dundee. Fact is Morrison had offered the fight that Simpson didn't want so Simpson refused it fact!! Simpson also tweeted me to say Ronnie is a very good fighter and he doesn't want that fight the day after.,

2) Ronnie would get phone calls about opponents with no research and Tony didn't know the weight.. Every time a fight is offered you have to consider 1) your fighters condition 2) How much notice and 3) Anything in personal life due in that timescale. For some reasons fights were refused but just down big weight differences or unable to sort babysitters on short notice. Ronnie is a family man first and foremost.

3) When I heard a couple of fights were refused through Tony I asked him to tell me first and that I would speak Ronnie!! Tony and Ronnie couldn't communicate. Ronnie then refused no fights. Ronnie is the type of person you need to be honest with no tell lies and this is the reason he has had problems with certain managers..

From the knowledge I know Ronnie refused 3 fights. Well that's what Tony told me.. One was too close to his kid being born and the other 2 were down to weight issues.. One being Scott Cardle a week after he fought Ryan Walsh which I'm sure people would agree was too short notice at a higher weight. There was also tentative talks with Tommy Coyle and his team about a weight in the middle but we had a clash with one of Ronnie's shows.. This is the facts Billy. I was heavy involved in all this and as I have said yes at times Ronnie was silly when asked about fights and refusing but it was more a communication break down between Tony and Ronnie.. John has a lot of experience and I'm a huge fan but Ronnie will stop him.

Billy see all these lies you give about Ronnie sparring Ricky?? Why don't we arrange to sit in a room with everyone there?? You can then say that Lex is a liar?? Seemingly Tony is a liar if we go by his post on here!! He's not answered my Facebook message find out why he has changed his story!! Ronnie is like no other fighter in the fact he likes to get hit. I have been in your gym lots of times and never once seen him hurt or rocked.. I can't say that for some of your fighters.. Your on the defensive about Ronnie's sparring with Ricky for some reason?? Would you like to share that with the Boxrec community??

Some wise person before said let them spar again?? Why not Billy make it a open spar and let them where the small gloves?? Ricky shouldn't need to get out of first gear.. To be honest we only sparred twice with you coz Ricky never got anything out the spar it was way to one sided but you'd never admit it.

The simple reason the wont spar again is Ronnie isn't good enough!
Not when I can get terry Flannagan or Luke Campbell totally diffrent leauge, do remember It does Ricky no good just hitting someone at will
