Congratulations Curtis, gave it everything as always and really proud of you.

Your achievements have surpassed what most thought you could do (me included) your heart and desire made this possible.

I hope you stay around on here, a British Title is a brilliant achievement and you beat a good fighter for it.

Do you reckon you could get back into football, or would you have lost 'it' now? I see Lucas Neill is back at Watford. You could get a game up front for us, can't be worse than Torres.

Ten quid says there is not a chance in hell Curtis retires and vacates the title.

If he does continue, then I hope Hamilton gets a rematch. This is a real feel good story, but I don't think Curtis Woodhouse won that.

That doesn't stop me being so happy for Curtis and Dave. This is a truly incredible story and a real sign that no matter what you do in life, whatever people say you are incapable of, go out there and proven them wrong. I just don't want Hamilton being discarded as an added extra to the story (in much the same way Beltran has been forgotten while everyone lauds Burns for fighting with a broken jaw)

First of all congrats curtis you are the most persistant bixer since bruno and,like bruno,the public love seeing you box. If you didnt retire what names interest you to make a u turn and make a defence of the title?

Yeah, agree with that (sorry to say). It really could have gone either way as shown with the 116-115 card. That judge must have considered them unseperable.

It was a very close fight to call, I just thought Hamilton nicked it although in some ways Woodhouse deserved it, coz he appeared to want it that bit more and tried harder throughout.

Hamilton must look at his fitness levels, or consider a move up - couldn't fight for the 3 minutes.

If we do live in a dream world how about Woodhouse getting a shock world title fight and Hamilton going for the Lonsdale belt outright in a clash for the vacant title.
