So let me get this straight - a fight against a proven welter in collazo after a year out is a shit fight? It's not the greatest fight than can be made but it's hardly worth the scorn being poured on it as much as it it is on here.

The notion that khan is scared if brook is a laughable one as well.

Seriously I know at times he doesn't help himself but froch aside khans dance card is as good as any British fighter over the past 10-15 years and his record is more than decent.

He can still be a force at world level and will always be on exciting fights. Let's embrace that rather than moan and groan

Agreed.

As said before though, it aint going to be Brook. Which is a fight that the UK fans would get excited about.

I would too.

It's a winnable fight by Khan, as I don't see him making the same mistake twice. He'd finally be able to avenge the loss, and pushing the revenge angle it would sell to the casuals. It'd sell.

Also Prescott has done bugger all since beating Khan, and I'm pretty sure would jump at the chance to rematch. He'd make a good bit of bunce out of it, even if Khan spanked him.

Sadly, I don't see it happening. Khan's team probably thinks it's too much of a risk with a Mayweather fight on the horizon. Which is a shame, as I believe Khan can win and finally erase that memory.

X2

He should have had this fight instead of Diaz last April. Would have generated a lot of interest.

and ended his career. theres a good reason khan never rematched prescott.....his people are shitscared the same thing happens again. well schooled and defensive fighters have worked prescott out , but khans wrecklessness and lack of a fighting brain will always leave him open to get ko'd by big punchers. its hard to find a top fighter around 147 who couldnt knock the skin off a rice puddin, but khans people will find one.....probably malignaggi again then.

Collazo is more interesting after beating Ortiz than he was last year
