Great scrap, congrats to Channel 5 and Hennessy for sorting this out, better than most the mismatches on Sky these days - i.e. Matchroom fighter vs 'international opponent'. That Liverpool card was an embarassment.

Senior and Hill drew after a head clash in the second left Hill cut, not sure what that means for the tournament but they need to get that fight back on soon or bring in a replacement for Hill to keep it going.

Great fight I agree,but you are doing a disservice to Matchroom imo

All in all not to bad at all unless you are looking at it from a purely negative point of view but I agree some of the Liverpool card was shit Hearn admits that in his ifilm interview.

I scored the fight 115-114 to Bob Ajisafe. Good fight though, could've been scored either way in my opinion.

The thing with this whole Nutritional Knockout Tournament, or whatever they call it, it struck me when they were describing it at the top of the show. What happens if there's a draw?

And that's what happened between Leon Senior and Tony Hill in the other quarter final. An accidental clash of heads in the second resulted in the fight being a draw. The Channel 5 pundits looked a bit awkward, and invented a 'Southern Area champ goes through' rule up on the spot.

I think this is the sort of fight 5 should be concentrating on.

They don't have money to get big fights on their channel. So instead of boring us all putting Fury and DeGale on against journeymen, whilst pretending they are fighting somebody world class, why not put on domestic scraps? People fighting in small halls for British or European titles. These fights often include hungry fighters and 50 / 50 action.

Proper boxing. Not Tyson Fury fighting ancient cruiserweight bin men.

+1 Galahad v Dickens was a good fight. Unsure about Galahads next though poor looking record.

So it seems Channel 5 lucked out with the Senior/Hill fight getting stopped in the 2nd after a headclash 8)

Otherwise if it went the distance we would probably have been treated to highlights as there was about 20 minutes left on the programme

I hope none of the tourney is cut from schedule so they can talk poo about other matters when the whole fight can be aired
