Yeah there's bunches of tickets, like 20 together for crazy high prices. Making a bit of profit fair enough but 5 times the ticket price is not right.

It is a joke and although i wasn't going to be attending anyway, it does make me want to go and buy tickets for things i don't want to see to flog them myself

Yeah, sounds like the touts might have gone a bit overboard on this one. Hopefully they will have tickets left over and will have to sell at face value or lower later.

It also seems like there was a lot of tickets reserved for club wembley, those could be released for general sale later.

There'll be spares. Wembley is huge and the touts will become more realistic when the fanatics have blown their wads in panic. The advice to buy from fighters on the card is sound, though.

How could you stop it? Many have tried, and failed. The favourite is paperless ticketing, where you produce your id and credit card used in booking and they admit your party. Seat wave and Viagogo simply arrange a meeting place near the venue and give you the buyers phone number and you walk in together. You could be paid a grand to go watch, or leave if you don't like it. Another effort was to send a barcode to your mobile phone, hundreds of crap payg phones with the barcode on popped up on eBay!

Just relax. Annoying yes. But how can matchroom solve what the wider entertainment industry can't. Let's remember eddie is small time when it comes to this.

Plenty of pairs of tickets will become available for face value and below if you are willing to wait it out until the day of the the fight.

For me this is great. We will see a record crowd. And we will get a fascinating fight.

More than likely holding them back. Nothing generates a buzz round a buzzing fight like lots of people buzzing about not being able to get tickets

They're talking about getting permission from the transport of London to increase the capacity. What will the view be like for the people that get those tickets if they do?

Yeah but the promoter gets guaranteed sales then! The touts are the ones taking the risks. Cant see anything changing.

Glastonbury dealt with the touts pretty effectively. You now have your face on the ticket. It's a nightmare to get one though, and I haven't been able to get one for 3 years
