I've enjoyed the banter, most what I said true and how we feel, but also some jokes & wind ups, I love the banter, enjoyed it lads, thanks :TU:

All jokes aside, we'll see what happens, if the fight is to be, then it us to be, that's no problem, really it isn't, Troys more than capable of causing damage, he's a big boy (even though he's a 5ft 6" S/F ) :OhYes:

True, you shouldn't have to always be the away fighter, word of advice, get a better team :TU:

Hes refused Maxi twice, his last fight Ronnie had 2 broken hands recovering and ask the board they refused him until his surgeon signed him and the 2nd was is in May, Ronnie fights middle of April on a home show in Paisley. Thats understandable surely? Would you take a top 10 fighter on if you were in Tommys position? an honest answer please
What Tommy Gilmour wants and gets are two different things, he doesn't really hold any power in British boxing, he has no TV deal, no promoter to work with to get his fighters on TV, most of his shows are dinner shows that don't see particularly big attendances and he just isn't a power player in British boxing. Gethin-Flanagan has been put out to purse bids, FW will win those, if he then asks for Troy James and Joe Murray to fight for the English title in a final eliminator, both of those on the undercard of Frankie Gavin's fight in Birmingham in the summer, I can't see the board saying no and Tommy Gilmour will have little influence on the decision.

This is good news for Sykes. Didn't think Walsh would fight Sykes.

Didn't see anything in the first Sykes vs Kays rematch that warranted a rematch, pretty clear win for Sykes who is just bigger, better, stronger.

He turned down a fight to fight him in February as he had two broken hand and board said he could not fight till he was signed to fight, contact board and ask, he was offered May but he will offer maxi in April up here. Why should ronnie go back down again?

Money talks, bullshit walks, if there's more money in the fight down here, that's where it has to be.

More money in the fight down here? On a show that wont have tv and Ronnie be paid pennys. Get a grip you clown. If it was on tv then id maybe see your point but why would he go down there when he doesnt need to? Maxi is the one who wants to get into Ronald's position not other way around!

No TV in Scotland either and at least Coldwell has the Coldwell TV app. I said if there's more money down here, learn to read you clown.

Coldwell TV app is gonna pay Ronald well? Seriously? Fact is Maxi has had 1 superfeather fight in which he didnt make the limit, Ronnie has already been down there and had a bit of a dodgy decision at Maxi's weight on 3 days notice! Ronnie is in position to fight a final eliminator, Tommy holds the cards and if they want the fight they will need to come up here. You guys are saying Ronnie refused a fight, He was refused to fight by the board until a surgeons line came in! All could be backed up by the board! He was offered a fight in May in England which has been said Maxi can fight in Paisley on April 12th? Maxi would already be in training .

I agree with Team Clark for once. He'd be mad to fight Hughes before the eliminator and I don't think there is a lot Troy can do.

Why should Maxi Hughes travel? The cards Tommy Gilmour's holding are a sack of shit, no TV deal, only one champion, no major shows in years and he has little influence with the board. Compare that to Dave Coldwell, offers the fight live for free, bigger audience, increased sponsorship and advertising, the show in Sheffield should sell out because it looks fantastic, he can get his fighters on TV through Eddie Hearn, happy to work with other promoters, Curtis Woodhouse has just won the British title and he has numerous other fighters with English and Area titles that are looking to take the next step and he isn't afraid to put his fighters in 50-50 fights or for them to box on other promoters shows. Right now he's the top small hall promoter in the country. He can offer bigger money than Tommy Gilmour can.

Dave Coldwell is shrewd and unless his fighters are fighting on a hearn card they will be being paid by the guidlines set by the boxing board! fact!!
You are missing the point, Tommy holds the cards and although boxing cutsman said troy will walk away its irrelevant as Ronnie will still fight a final eliminator against someone else. Ronnie will not withdraw from negotiations and Troy will which is why whatever party does walk its stated. Ronnie would be paid the exact same for going down to England as Maxi would be paid for coming up here. Maxi wants to get into Ronnie's position so would therefore need to take a risk?? And I dont have much time for Tommy but I think he has more clout with the board than you give him credit for! once he gets his fighters into position he very rarely lets it slip!

Imo ronnie sud hav been put in another eliminator after kays got moved into a shot. Who ever against. Then the winner of the eliminator sud hav met troy.. But how the cards have been delt. Its worked out better for ronnie. Although its tough fight with troy. Ronnie wud b mad to fight maxi b4 the final eliminator makes no sense unless it did get ordered by the board that's the only way it cud happen which wud b strange after making the final eliminator. Ronnie got lucky and I feel sorry for troy who has won 1 of the 2 orginal eliminators the board put together. I want team troy to win the purse bid so the fights local to me and I can watch it lol.

i agree with you Maley and have said same to Ronnie but if Maxi agrees to come upto Paisley in April, Ronnie will fight him. Ronnie and Maxi get on really well and were actually supposed to be sparring im sure around this time for Ronnie's fight. I can understand Team James camp regarding this but not Ronnie's problem and he will fight who the board want him to fight. They know that they wouldnt fight Maxi if they were on Ronnie's position.

The fight between Troy and I will happen up here in Scotland, unless TeamTroy can get either Warren or Hearn to bid... ;) I would tell you all the purse bids for Aberdeen but we will just have to wait and see what happens :p

Hope you like Birmingham then. I think Errol Johnson will win the bids with allegedly's support, or Warren himself will win. Frankie Gavin seems to be set to fight Bethuel Ushona in a final eliminator for the WBO title in Birmingham this summer, Warren doesn't have many fighters in the Midlands to make up the undercard. Martin Gethin-Terry Flanagan will probably be on there, he's signed Tommy Langford so he will be another, but there's still the rest of the undercard to fill. Frankie's good mates with Dean (boxingcutsman) and Fwank's worked with Errol Johnson before, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Chris Keane on there and the eliminator would be perfect as the 3rd fight down the bill and it wouldn't cost loads either. If the eliminator with Ushona comes off for Frankie, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see the fight in Birmingham.

Your sponsors can put in as much money as they want, if FW wants the fight, he'll get it.

No issue with Ronnie personally, but the rest of them seriously piss me off and if we're being honest, how can Tommy Gilmour compete with allegedly?
