I think this is the first time I've seen John Latham referee and he's been absolutely terrible, dodgy knockdown and scorecard in the Perkins-Ochieng fight and then the point deduction.

Is that a knob tattooed on Robles' stomach?

This guy is chinny and yet Kell's punches havent ever properly wobbled him.

Brook's defence has been poor tonight, the commentators have ignored it, but Robles has landed clean plenty of times to head and body.

By ensuring he hasn't spent the last six weeks down the pub
I dont think jumping up from that to Vasquez is smart though.
To be fair he isn't going to fight to the standard of his previous opponent in his next fight.

If the fight had been chief support then it would be worthy of big criticism. I think Hearn is worried of Mitchell going back to his (alleged) old ways so he is just getting him in a fight where he has to train and make weight a few months before his World title fight. As it is the opponent ended up being absolute toilet as opposed to just toilet.

Good round for Brook but when he,s inside his hands are near his waste

Brook's been poor tonight, he's won every round, but he's taken loads of clean shots, hasn't thrown a body shot all fight and when he tried to take Robles out, didn't have the brains to take a step back and create some room, something he should have learned after fighting 3 or 4 journeymen.

I know people would doubtless complain but this isn't a World title fight, if I was the ref and seeing the same thing as I'm seeing here I'd stop it the next time he looks in any remote trouble.

He's throwing back, isn't hurt and wants to carry on, the corner have now thrown the towel in, but ignore the propaganda broadcast/commentary, there wasn't any need to stop it.

Got to agree. Robles was able to land 2' and 3's cleanly. Brook looks great going forward but seems to have virtually no defense at times.

Target practice for Brook. Robles was game and did better than I thought he would.
