Looking at that vid, it's a dead cert he doesn't hold a punch. His handlers must know this for sure, so it's an interesting project they have on their hands: to guide their fragile multi million dollar jackpot to the big payday, and somehow avoid any banana skins on the way.
They could probably stick him in with Wlad now - but the cash won't be too great, so they will be looking to maximise their chances of him actually winning the thing - because that big punch of his might actually land on Wlad's chin...and who knows what will happen then.
So they want him to get experience, to give him the best shot of beating Wlad, but somehow avoid any disasters on the way.
So....next up ? Seth Mitchell.
Totally concur. If does land one on Wlad's chin... He'll be bigger than Jeebus. Front cover of Time magazine & shite.
If he meets a Johnathon Banks type along the way... Game over man. He'll be fighting Chazz Witherspoon & jockeying to be an Arreola comeback opponent.
I hope Wlad beats him... The only reason being that Wlad doesn't thank God after he wins. If Wilder gets his hands on the title we'll back to all that Medieval superstition.

He's with GBP & Haymon, isn't he?
I've seen it before, but you're right, it's now nowhere to be found, seems someone has gone and got it taken down, but there's the amateur fight put up on this thread and there's a short clip from a Russia Today news broadcast of him being knocked out as an amateur, no doubt they will try to erase them soon, so if I can find it I'll take it from YouTube and keep hold of the footage in case they try and purge that as well.

Rubbish. Watch the fight with the side angle that wasn't in the replay highlight gif for some reason.
There was nothing on the right hand at all.
It was like watching two mates having a friendly spar.
Go an watch how he hit Liakovich massive difference.

I've seen both thank you very much. I saw a guy get hit with a surprise shot and go down. Whether or not he could have actually got back up, only Scott will ever know.

The fact that he's been matched almost entirely against opponents without much power makes me wonder too, and even for his biggest step-up his team chose someone who can't punch, as if they know he's vulnerable. I'm also not sure about the physiology of punch resistance, but he has the skinniest legs I've seen on a heavyweight and skinny legs seem to be common among fragile fighters.

good find - that was an early amateur find mind. still his power seems astronomical
He's a bit like a heavyweight version of Wayne Alexander. Not very polished Until you nail him to the floor you're in danger! Exciting but really vulnerable.
