Ive travelled far and wide to support english fighters and will continue to do so but would never support an english fighter over a scottish fighter if they were matched up. I work with a helluva lot of english and the majority show a much greater anti scottish nature than most scots do anti englsh. Its mainly the scottish backlash to the media circus that surrounds the english national football team that leads you to believe that.
Anyway, Vote Yes! Lol
My experience is exactly the opposite mate - most English aren't bothered either way by the Scots, however my experience through work is that there was a surprising level of anti-English sentiment.
Anyway, still looking forward to the fight !

You are my troll.
I haven't seen Troy fight , plus with a name like Troy he sounds like a Brazilian footballer or an Abercrombie and Fitch model.Plus I have met Ronnie ,and found him to be a nice young man ...

The shot that finished Chris Male looked to be round the back of the head, anybody else think that ?

I amnt being disrespecting but I watched that fight and I hope he comes in as wild as that, I thought
It went round the back but it was a nice finish, not a one punch knockout like he said as he never recovered from the first knockdown, it was an accumulation of punches that finished, derry v Coyle is a 1 punch finish,

Looked more like temple to me or just above the ear as Male turned away from the punch, didn't look like back of the head though, more a similar area to the punch Thompson did Price with in the first fight.

Punch was 100% back of the head. The way the fight was talked up I expected more. Honestly that's not massively impressive no offense to Male but he was there to get hit and looked levels below Troy.. I'm looking forward to this fight even more now.. I think in most fights Ronnie is in it's fighter v Boxer and many people think Ronnie is the fighter.. I think no doubt watching 3 fights now with Troy he's a brawler. He hasn't fought anyone who can bang also this will be explosive..
On another subject Dean... See how you said Troy could of knocked out anyone but choose not too?? Was that the story in the Flannigan fight.. Was he just taking it easy on Terry ha?

I was sitting about 6 foor away it landed fairly and with devastating effect. The shot on the way down actualy was the one that really put chris out.
That video really doesnt do it justice to be honest was one of the most impressive kos iv seen in a long time live. The shot high on the temple its hard to tell on this grainy video but i was front row just behind males corner (where the fight finished)and it didnt land in an illegal area

No idea where you're getting back of the head from, but the fight was what I expected it to be, Troy's always been talked of as a strong, tough fighter, with that sort of thing you expect him to be a brawler. From what I've seen of both men it looks like it will be fighter vs fighter with neither taking a backward step, although Ronnie is probably more suited to fighting on the back foot.
Flanagan is definitely an exception to that I think, absolute nightmare for James style wise, long rangy southpaw against a come forward brawler and to be honest, Flanagan might not be a big puncher, but he'd tie a lot of super featherweights and lightweights in knots, he's a quality fighter.

Jonp was bang on with his comment about the shot that ko'd chris. As for levels below hav a day off davidee. Troy caught chris early with a great shot and jumped on him fair play to him.

That looked like a one punch ko to me, Troy James certainly has power, he wobbled his opponent with a short left earlier, Chris Male kept dropping his left hand after he Jabbed, Troy James seemed to suss it straight away and kept winging over the rights, whenever Male flicked out his Jab, though James troubled Male with his shots, it was the last punch that was different power, that was an awesome shot, you need a very hard fast jab, to keep James off, otherwise he will connect big time. I do have to say Male has a decent chin, so that says a lot about the strength and power of Troy James, I also think he needs big fights to get himself charged up, smaller fights maybe don't bring out the best in him.

I have to agree with Maley on this, I am not a friend of Chris Male nor a family member, but I Have watched him on the circuit for about 4 or 5 years and he is a well schooled fighter, with quick hands and good skills, he may not be the biggest puncher, but what he lacks in the power department, he make's up with speed, movement and work rate, it was a genuine 50/50 fight against Troy James, but these things happen in boxing, if Troy does the same to Ronnie Clark, would you say he was levels below? No of cause not.

Starting to be very disrespectful IMO Daviddee & jaimeM for no reason, no one has been disrespectful towards Ronnie so why you feel the need to is beyond me.
David McAllister, no way did that punch hit Chris around back of the head.
The 1st knockdown wasn't a big knockdown at all, it was more a flurry of punches so Chris didn't need to recover has he wasn't hurt from that, the finish was brutal, simple has that, Male was facing us and the right hand over the top had him out cold, but on his way down Troy threw a left hook that caught him square on the temple, we have the stills on my twitter which show this so fuk knows where you've got back of the head from.
Obviously your gonna play Troys power and abilitys down, but don't be disrespectful in the process has Troy is not a disrespectful person and wouldn't try bad mouthing anyone.
Just make sure Mooney don't knock Ronnie out on Saturday and get ya selfs a good camp.
See you 6th June

Dean nothing I said was
Disrespecting there mate, my opinion was it wasn't 1 punch ok that's all, it looked like accumulation and jonp then said it was punch on way down that sparked him, it was a great
Finish like I said and to knock anyone out like that's is impressive, as you said ronnie needs
To perform on Saturday against a fighter who is better than his record suggests

It's not disrespectful I expected more that's the truth.. On the video it looks like the shot hit behind the head.. Male looks out his depth surely everyone can see that.. Maybe Troy just too big physically for him.. As for power can see he has power how much I'm sure we will find out.. Nothing is disrespectful in what I've put what I think from seeing that fight.. He says himself in the interview he's not the best boxer. His strength is his power clearly.. The way you talked everyone he faced he choose not too knock out??

The video isn't the best quality but it did look that way to me, obviously you were there live and that counts for more imo. Thats why I asked if it was just me that thought that mate!!
