Yep I'll be there - seems to be that pub under centre point James suggested - usualy surrounded by 15 buses last time I looked - 5 minute walk for me so no problem there.
You going knockout?

Yes, i'll be there. I'm looking forward to it. Good crack last time, good bunch of fellas.

I've a meeting in Wolverhampton on that morning, but will be back in time.

Whats the pub called?

Does anyone want to PM me a mobile number so I can keep in touch on the evening.

Last time I asked a bloke if he was a boxing fan, he said yes. So i sat down with my pint of Guinness, next thing, he says, well, not really, not since Bruno retired.

A mobile number would be simpler.

I'll be willing to bet on someone spending a night (at least) in the cells. It just wont seem like a good outing without breaking a few of those sensible U.S laws.

Knockout artist, i'd just ask Kovit one question. Why?

Hi, this is the first time I ever posted on boxrec.

Something I have been looking for a long time is a boxing supporters club and would be interested in such a thing.

If a vegas trip was planned I'd be up for it or for any other trips abroad.

Also as I live in London I'd be interested in a supportes club going to fights in the rest of the UK.

Welcome to Boxrec, Wilko.

Make some suggestions, and we'll take it from there.

People are receptive to ideas on here. I suugested meeting for a drink on a regular basis and we've got our 2nd meet on 4th June if you can make it.

Great idea. It's something I'd be interested in as I'd definitely come back to the UK more often for fights if I knew there were like-minded people to go with.

I'd certainly be up for meeting for a drink on the 4th - where is it?

I'm just looking to go to fights with other boxing fans as at the moment go with mates I drag along who tend to be football fans and just spend the whole night in the bar.

Perhaps we should organise something for the next big fight in the UK. I don't include the Hatton, Calzaghe double bill in that as I do try to avoid allegedly shows as a rule of thumb.

Here's a blast from the past.

Well summer 2005 is almost upon us i trust you all have sensibly putting a little money aside over the last 12 months.

Tito v Winky would have been nice...

Some may know that i was looking into sorting a group booking through the tour operator i work for. Firstly Morales v Pacman but the St Pat flight prices made that too pricey. That Gatti Mayweather sold out in 1 day before i had a chance to price everything up.

So...

Anyone up for Hopkins v Taylor July 16th MGM Grand? I believe tickets only go on sale today so if there's any interest i'll get the details together at work on Monday.

Bit pissed of to say the least considering my birthday falls on the weekend of Tito-Wright. I'll definitely be at a Hopkins-Trinidad rematch if they should both win their next fights. I'm not that interested in Hopkins-Taylor.

Maybe 06. I have to admit Hopkins v Taylor doesn't really get the pulse racing does it - i'm happy to watch that one on tv. But when one of these is announced i'm on it

Hopkins v Tito 2
Winner of Hatton/Tszyu v winner of Gatti/Mayweather
Morales v Corrales/Castillo winner
Pacman v MAB 2 or Marquez 2
Toney v Klitchsko

Who have i missed out?

Unfortunately I'm ruled out for the rest of this year as I've got a new job and as it's a launch I've resigned myself to no holiday for the rest of 2005

BTW, Corrales Vs Morales is a great, great call.

Corrales vs Castillo II is surely a cert aswell.

BTW, nice to see you back Deserter.
