Give Canizales the title shot

Canizales isn't ranked high enough to get the shot, even if he were. He wouldn't deserve the shot over Jeff Chandler. The Man who BEAT Canizales, and fought to a draw with Caballero.

Chandler and Caballero still have a score to settle at some point anyway. I hope he still has that belt next week because if he does one of my boys is coming for it.

Well the only title he got to fight for was the SD loss to Chandler, which one judge thought he won.
He got bogus draws against #3 Barry and #6 Paquiao, and he beat Cabalerro soundly.
He lost that 3 round fight by MD, but really, 3 rds, not sure that means much.

Yep, Crease want's the next guy to face Barry....he know's he's goin' down this week and it's his way to avoid the Jimmer.

A loss is a loss whether it's to Jimmy Barry or anyone else. So I'd say the logic is flawed. Why would he duck Jimmy Barry because he's afraid he'd lose just to fight someone else that he'd lose to?

At least with Jimmy Barry he'd probably still at least manage to hold him to a Split or Majority decision. A lot of the bums that Barry has fought have managed that.

I didn't even notice you had challenged Morales. I agreed to facing Kid Williams in a rematch pretty early in this Matchups thread, but I definitely look forward to facing off with Gomez at some point. Perhaps we'll meet in the Million Dollar Tournament where the cream naturally rises to the top.

If I managed a guy who had as many cuts stoppages as Gomez has, I don't think I'd be too eager to face "El Oculista"

Well Gomez has beaten by KO, no less, the best fighter in SIM (Jofre) and dropped 2 razor thin decisions to him aswell (1 pt each time). Should have got a W over Chavez which was disgracefully given as a draw, so all I will add is.......
