No.

Damn you Brits and all your great boxing action. If it was 1/3 as good here (and not just all in Quebec like it is now) I'd be happy.

Crowd seemed mixed. Loads of casual sports fans who were there for the spectacle and they were all sound but also a lot of "lad" types who probably spent more time queuing to get into the toilet cubicles than actually watching the boxing. The lads sat next to me had all massively overspent on their tickets (They paid £150 each for £40 tickets) and they spent most of the time going back and forth to the toilet for a sniff. Then during the main event they just started doing coke in their seats.

There was a bit of crowd trouble behind me. My friends said someone got pushed down the stairs but I didn't see any of it. It amazes me that people will watch a fight between two drunks in the crowd rather than a fight between two world class athletes in the ring!

I couldn't get over how big the VIP enclosure was around the ring the other night; I think it spanned around ten rows back. I'd have been well annoyed had I forked out £1,500 and had to sit ten rows back from the ring.
VIP areas are a joke in general. Anything that's got VIP in it especially in a nightclub or a boxing capacity would contain a fair few schmucks.
When Marco Barrera came to Manchester a few years ago "ringside" stretched back about 20 rows. I scoped out a £65 seat the day before by visiting the venue (not the lowest price available but worth it). It was dead centre and also at the same height as the ring. Still only 30 odd yards away with an unobstructed view. The people below me were staring upwards and had people sat in front of them, yet paying £100s. Stupid.

I watched it in my living room. Pretty good view, but I was quite drunk near the end.

I was feeling hammered than Groves by the end of it. And it wasn't even 7pm.
