Collins was definitely a mirage, who by his own admission was past his best when he got his 15 minutes in the sun facing a faded Eubank and a (very) faded Benn. You only have to see how close Eubank came to beating Collins to see he would have been vulnerable to any number of fresher, younger British supermiddles to came later - Richie Woodhall, Robin Reid (circa Nardiello not his subsequent lukewarm reign), Glen Catley and Dean Francis to name 4.
