James, I think your magazine should end with the word boxing in the title. i.e. Punchline Boxing, Undisputed Boxing or (dare I say it) Real Deal Boxing sounds good.

More regular readers will simply refer to it by its first name, the new readers will know its about boxing.

This is fun.

How about "The Pugilist Specialist". Which could be shortened to the aforementioned Pug in time...

Failing that... "Spud's World"?

You have one of Ashley and his sound alike.

Incidently, I heard sometime ago that the guy who plays Ashley was/is a geniunally decent Amateur who was forced to give up the sport to remain in the street. Is this true?

Ashley, Ricky and Matthew close your eyes and you wouldn't know who is talking. Its not a joke, try it.

Don't know about Ashley but I'm sure the lad who played Zammo in Grange Hill was a very good Amateur, Bantamweight I think.

You know, Zammo won a couple of national titles as an amateur. He was no mug.

Yes, I seem to recall in an interview him saying that he had a choice at a young age to concentrate on acting or Boxing as it had always been his dream to go to the Olympics. He of course chose acting.

I also recall in an interview that in a staged fight in Grange Hill he didn't pull his punch once and really clobbered another actor by mistake.

I think it was the scene were Zammos girlfriend (who was very attractive I recall) and Zammo's mate found his drugs in his locker.
