It was predicted on here who it is. I'm glad he's getting involved again, and in a meaningful fight.

Nothing wrong with this fight.
Groves lost his last, therefore its quite right he works his way back and earns his next shot. Fighting the Euro champ and guy ranked no. 3 with WBC is the way to do it.

good fight for groves vs a non puncher but it's not a fight that will get 10,000 bums on seats i struggle to see this selling out if it's at wembley arena

Groves could be fighting Andre Ward, and you'd complain.

if you were looking forward to anything else- given that Groves lost by heavy KO in his last fight- i'd say the problem lies with you, and not Groves or Hearn.

Decent enough level of fight, European title and WBC eliminator. Good choice of opponent for a confidence booster, with 2 losses and 3 draws to his name plus appears light-fisted. Ideal recovery fight from 2 KO losses - I don't have a problem with it at all.

I'll be shocked if he doesn't. Probably against a decent opponent too.
This French fella is no mug & he seems to have upped his power lately scoring 3 kayos in his last 5 wins - at European level. Could be a tough contest for Groves.

Same here - this is a good match in my opinion.
Also, if he wins then he will have had the British, Commonwealth and European titles before hopefully challenging again for a World title.
I am a bit old-fashioned and love it when a boxer gets the full set !

They're having a string quartet of short-haired German He-She's to play the undercard fighters into the ring.
Meanwhile for the main event, The Skorpionz (a tribute version of the Scorpions) are flying in via private Nissan Almera - and will perform a soft-rock cover version of Guns 'n Roses famous ditty, "Sweet Ginger Step Child O' Mine".

Good comeback opponent, and you've got to beat the guy that holds the title, which Rebrasse does. The Frenchman showed good form in drawing and then knocking out Mouhamed Ali Ndiaye to win the EBU title, and also doing that in Italy.
Here's his rematch with Ndiaye for the EBU title, slightly odd finish. But the ref had no choice i think. Oh do you think the same ref will be used for the Groves match?

Just watched a bit of footage of this Rebrasse character, seems ok defensively but very limited offensively.
If George performs at even 50% the level he did during the Froch fights he will win emphatically.
