I felt sorry for Jim,sat there in the middle,he's a class act and you could see he wasn't impressed, neither was Peter Fury. It's strange how Chisora, once the bad guy is now the nice guy,I'd love Dereck to ko him,but i can't see it happening to be honest. Some of mike tysons stuff was bad,but i think this tops anything he ever said.

He isn't going to be boxing for less that £100k against Chisora for all those belts.

Hopefully it will come out afterwards. I see your point 17 fights probably with 10-12k max crowd is not a huge draw for the £££
Im not buying that lol

The fight against Cunningham was on NBC in america which in boxing terms only has a small budget. Main events is the main promoter for the network then when those fighters move beyond those kind of paydays they end up on HBO like Kovalev.

When Mike did he had credibility, he was an out and out thug. Fury is a nice kid who has actually been brought up well. He's never been in trouble with the law, he's not had bareknuckle fights and he's not the hellraiser he sometimes claims to be. He is generally honest and matter of fact but most of his action on the mic is worked. You get a closer glimspe of the real Tyson in his one2one interviews.

Chisora's got more money than Fury.
He hasn't.
I doubt either are shy of a few quid chisora has fought helenius, vitali and haye as well as fury and other smaller fights. Fury has fought cunningham, plus been the main fighter for Mick in his stable. I would have thought they would have both earned over a million by now.

Is this the same board who didn't sanction the fight.

Chisora and Fury are on a lot more than 40k for theirs fight.

The bet is just a ruse lads. If it was real the Board would step in.
Just like Degale Groves when David offered to cover George's bet.

I wouldn't be surprised if frank gets David Haye to make an appearance at the next presser if the ticket sales are well below the target and yes I'm being serious

Tyson has made big paydays off his International tv rights
the majority of his fights have been shown in 50 territories plus and do very high ratings across the World

yea id go with this

Haye Vs Fury makes big money , however Haye could go another route and get a title before Fury
and also im sure Fury will be reluctant to waste his time training for Haye unless he has a safety net or compensation clause .

Haye wouldn't do it. He was uncomfortable in Hull at Woodhouse - Hamilton.

The fight's a loss leader clearly, but if the gamble pays off then it wont be long until you'll be asked to pay extra for Dereck vs Vlad, and Dereck may even beat an ageing Vlad which would mean endless possibilities and put Fwank back on top. Its a long shot but it's the only shot.

Wlad would still beat Chisora's ass at this point in time and most likely the majority of the contenders out there.

But what are you basing on? I'd be shocked if he's getting under 100k. A main event heavyweight contender only getting 40k is unrealistic.
£15-£25k for EBU title added on £15k because heavyweight headline. Maybe get a bit more if it sells out = to ticket sales. However more reasons.. No matter what Chisora says Fury is the bigger name and no way he would fight for less than Chisora or even the same.. With 17 fights on the cards and in your opinion paying both above £100k how doze that make any sense Frank would lose money hand over foot.. Even paying £40k with the ticket sales the way they are he's gonna lose money.. allegedly subscriptions may go up a few thousand .. I can see Chisora on a Maximum £40k and Fury a bit more

No disrespect David but you aint got a clue you are so off its unreal.. Fury done a few fight deal and DC was one of them, it was in the Millions..... DC £40,000  you are WAY off....

My perception of it is that Fwank's done it as a loss leader. He was not happy at a rival promoter staging the biggest fight for donkey's year (Froch/Groves 2) and he simply lacks the star boxers to make any other fight that has the potential to break out and reach the general public. Many times, Fwank has said in interviews that he's taken big punts and lost a fortune on a show in order to follow a bigger plan. With this one, you can see his reasoning - (a) get his man into the mandatory position, (b) show he's still a big time player as a promoter, and (c) boost his subscription levels. He made Fury/Chisora when it was becoming clear that his rival was putting on an absolutely massive show. It's a statement on Fwank's part in some ways.
