I think you will find when the news comes out that , its a different scene, I have good information Jamie was at a party sat night, and left early, and was shot by somebody who was hiding in the bushes to shoot someone, I believe they shot the wrong guy, so thats the news so far, nothing to do with anything else, just happened to be in the wrong place, and at the wrong time, and I am sure everyone here wished him well and a speedy recovery,

Dont beat youself up about it mate, you only posted what a lot of people were thinking, you only said "Jamie must have done something to piss someone off" which is a fair opinion as its less likely that it was random but who knows yet,it could be spur of the moment arguement or mistaken idendity If you said Jamie had done something WRONG to pee someone off then that would be unfair but we're all grown ups on here and everyone know opinions are like arseholes so its not as if anyone's gonna read your post the phone The Sun with a scoop of your reveltions

Looking at it from a boxing business perspective, this is a nightmare for all involved.

TV networks might have a lot less interest in Macklin and MGM fighters now that there has been a fairly serious shooting there and the histories of several members associated with the gym have come to light. I don't think promotors will want their fighters going over there to train at all.

MGM was picking up a bit of steam but I suspect that was ground to a halt completely now.

I hope we don't hear of any more shootings. Marbella is known as a haven for gangsters from Europe so it's not the safest place to be Id imagine. Macklin himself should be careful as well.

Moorsey is one of the best.
Got to know him a bit better after the epic Rhodes fight . Friendships were formed after that fight that won't be broken.
My thoughts and best wishes are with Jamie and his family at this time.

Unfortunately wrong place wrong time is all too convenient of an explanation. If I was trying to spin this the best possible way, that is the story I'd be going with.

Wish him a speedy recovery. I normally steer clear of threads like this but I asked jamie for a couple of signed photos for a mate who needed a little pick me up and he was more than happy to oblige. Get well soon

Hope his better soon he is a gentleman and a warrior. The sad thing is he will be more well known for this than all he achieved as a fighter.
I hope it is just a case of mistaken identity but if I'm honest I doubt that but I'm sure it was not justified in any case.

Yeah but only have to walk into the same space as some nutter and things can escalate, can happen to anyone and there's also plenty of examples of wrong place, wrong time attacks its not exactly uncommon.

I don't doubt that but given everything that has been said and come to light about the place... well im sure we have our own opinions. I don't think Moore is the type to go looking for trouble but I don't think he would back down either. Thankfully he is ok and expected to make a full recovery. It will be interesting to see what happens from here on out.

Can't believe this has happened to Jamie Moore. i don't pretend to know the circumstances behind it nor do I care to speculate, but it really does only take one idiot and being in the wrong place at the wrong time something can happen to absolutely anyone.

I wish Jamie all the best in his recovery and thoughts are also with his family and friends, this must be a horrible time for them.

What do you mean 'all too convenient of an explanation', I was giving some information to this forum, and you try to make me sound like I am giving an excuse!! I dont get that, I only state the facts, if you knew me, you would understand,

Yeah they were branding themselves the wildcard of Europe weren't they, I always wandered why joe gallagher didn't send his lads out for sparring there

You are not stating facts. You are stating what you've been told. You may believe it is fact but you can't expect everyone else to believe you, especially since you werent there and don't know anything for sure. Facts require evidence which you cannot provide. Nobody is saying jamie was in the wrong.
