06. Brian Minto - Age (39) lots of though fights, has taken too many hard punches through out his career, will be nothing but step up for younger fighters.

There is better ways for these guys to make money (if they haven't enough) then by getting hurt in boxing.

Nine months on and:

01: ADAMEK hasn't fought since, but will have a fairwell fight against SALETA.

02: Tony Thompson beat former top contender Solis, proving himself as the top gatekeeper of the division. #7 in the world.

03: Antonio Tarver beat Johnathan Banks via 7th round KO, world ranked.

04: Fres Oquendo inactive since his Chagaev loss, but has recently (through ligitation) secured another shot at the WBA regular title in the near future.

05: Kali Meehan accounted for Shane Cameron in a big domestic affair, being talked about as an opponent for Parker.

06: Brian Minto had an unsuccessful tilt at the NZ Super 8 cruiserweight tournament - was by most accounts robbed. Will fight on.

Saleta just got tired of being continually jabbed on the nose and was shaking his head to indicate he had had enough before he even sat on his stool. Next he started making injury excuses.

I agree with you, Briggs is no bum especially in this weak era where a chin and fast heavy hands can do a lot of damage.

agree tarver beat USS IMO alot more dmamagign punches

i wanna see tarver vs wladimir next year, both were at 96 olympics
