Ward's nickname is "Son of God", so f'ing what? Among many Christian denominations, that is just like saying Andre "Believes in God" Ward. It is a meaningless title, and if you ask him, he'd tell you some BS like we are all children of God. I can't be the only one who knows Christians or was raised Christian and have heard that talk before.
Come off it. Just say that you don't like Ward and insert the real reason. All of this bullshit is beyond stupid. If you think Ward is boring, then go to comedians, actors and entertainers for your comedy and drama. Ward is one of the few fighters who isn't trying to be a reality TV star and he gets crap for it. Sometimes I don't know if I'm talking about boxing with men or reality show stars who high school girls.
poo is so stupid, you guys got Wlad trying out reality TV tactics with Shannon Briggs. Cut that poo out! Let's watch and focus on what happens IN THE RING, or we run the serious risk of more Adrien Broners.
you do know that most of the world ISN'T christian and for many like myself it's a bit creepy when ward thanks god for giving him the win . do you really believe that god would help a fighter beat another fighter if so then god enjoys making people suffer ,how can any "god" want one of his "children " to get knock out .
i don't want to see a reality star either just not a fighter that seems to think he's above other .
I'm glad he finally leaves USA, but why didn't he want to leave USA to fight a still-active Froch who had just defeated Kessler?
Honestly, I think Kessler has a chance to KO Ward here, Ward won't be allowed to headbutt and hold this time, and if he has to rely on his speed and skills to avoid Kessler's punches, I think he could tire very quickly.
Odd that you would think Kessler would KO Ward when Kessler didn't even land cleanly in their first bout and Ward has proven, at the world level, to have excellent defense and a solid chin for those rare times he has been hit flush.

God is a pretty gangsta mfer in the bible so yea I could see him helping to get a guys ass beat.
That said all kinds of people believe all sorts of sh!t that you or I may or may not believe in. Idk why other people need to hide their thoughts & feelings cuz its not the the consensus opinion. Why the f#ck would anyone care enough about a boxers thoughts on the afterlife to be creeped out to begin with.

Several individuals complain about him not traveling. True, his furthest journey was to fight Froch in New Jersey, 3,000 miles from home but still in the US. Yet one of those same individuals once extolled Joe Calzaghe for being willing to "travel" from Wales to fight on "foreign soil" in England and Scotland, the equivalent of a moderate car-ride in Ward's native California. Joe finally fought in the US against a fighter we wrongly thought was past it (Hopkins) and one who clearly was shot (Jones) at the tale end of his illustrious career. It made sense for him to fight mostly at home because that's where he made his money and had local support. All those fighters from places like Argentina and Columbia and the like who regularly have to fight in the US or Germany or South Africa or Russia to make money would do the same if they could.
But now Ward, who is clearly not at the end of his career, is ready to fight in Denmark, and for some, it's all about how he waited so long and Kessler has one foot in the grave and how he's suddenly growing balls, as if a pendejo keyboard warrior has more balls than a professional fighter. Where is the topic asking whether Ward will get a fair shake in Denmark, the same way there is often one when a Eastern European fighter is boxing in the US?
LMAO... I hope kessler headbutts and fouls the shit out of ward with out the ref. doing ANYTHING at all. A rerun of the first fight, just sides switched. if this really happens, wich i really doubt, kessler will try to manhandle ward like crazy. it will be interresting to see if sauerland can find a ref. willing to do as bad a job reffing as in the first fight. And yes, kessler will probably loose anyways, but he finally gets his shot for revenge, which is all he wants.

I know you know I was being facetious. I like Kessler and am glad to see him getting another shot in København
facetiuos... never seen or heard that word before. it means something along like mocking does it not ? cool word. serious, i know its geeky but where/what does it origiante from ?
anyhow, no, i dint know you were being facetious. sorry for that.
actually im a bit puzzled that kessler really wants this fight. imo he runs a high risk of being ridiculed in front of his intire nation. but if this happen, i will pray to wards father, that his son will get hit in rd 3, after two rounds were kessler is bullying/shoving him, hunting him down while headbutting away, with a lucky bloody punch haymaker knocking him out cold. i would be so so so pleased
Sad to see that many of you are still delusional about what happened in the first Kessler/Ward fight.
I would think by now, you'd be ready to admit the better man won. However, anger is a powerful and irrational force. That tournament was supposed to be dominated by the Europeans. Right after the Ward/Kessler fight everything changed. I remember all the excuses and the resentment you guys felt.
Get over it. Ward won. Without any headbutt or "rough stuff", he still would have won. The enduring legacy of anger shows the bias of this forum. Hatton got away with way more against Tyszu. That match barely looked like boxing most of the time. Yet, there is no constant reminder of Hatton's "dirty tactics", or hate for the referee who allowed it to happen.
Hatton just aint no kessler is
he ? Read earlier post and you might grasp it. And revenge and making wrongs right, should not be mistaken for hate or bad intentions, Bad intensions.
Maybe your postername is clouding your perception of things ?
