Top level promoting in this country just goes round in circles. Jack Solomons was number one and Duff/Barrett/Astaire forced him out. Along comes FW and he does the same to them. Along comes Eddie Hearn and FW's on the way out. Along comes ..........

Manc Hitman,
Brook is out first week in December in Sheffield.
The Khan fight could happen Summer 2015 - outdoor stadium.
Brammall Lane / Old Trafford / Wembley.
All about whether Khan fancies it.

The Calzaghe thing was sorted out.
Really? After the court case and the judgment and then folding Sports Network... Im surprised if that is right given the efforts he went to in order to avoid payment.

Was this a purse bids fight? Feel for Bundu, can't seem him being too well off from boxing.

Groves fight maybe in conjunction with matchroom on sky maybe? Sure Eddie would love to go up against a allegedly show.

Sounds cool..I don't doubt the fight can happen but Eddie needs to know as I'm sure he does that team Khan are not going to play along nicely to his tune.
No way is this going to be just a matchroom show - Khan/GBP maybe even Al Harmon (not sure if he's just his US advisor) will demand equal promotional billing. I doubt khan will fight in Sheffield but who knows...it all rests on what mayweather wants to do....if he goes for a Garcia next year then I think we're on if he chooses khan the Brook fight will sadly have to wait Assiming

Khan vs brook needs to happen in December or brook will lose the chace to fight him. Khan will fight mayweather in may over brook in the summer. Cant blame him really, meaning hearn must make the fight before the end of the year and if brook wins it puts him with a potential fight with mayweather

Lets be realistic, Kell Brook will never get a sniff at a Mayweather or a Pacquiao fight in a million years whether he faces and beats Khan or not. He is not a big money fight for those guys and its to late to become one before those guys leave the game as they probably wont be around that much longer. Floyd can get mega paydays against Cotto and Alvarez again, Danny Garcia, Thurman etc - Kell sadly for him won get near that money -his only real chance to break bank in a massive way is Khan- and that's why Amir is in the driving seat.

Yeah agree about brook v mayweather, that's why brook needs needs khan in December as if khan has to choose next summer between mayweather or brook.......well its not really a choice. Hearns needs to get the fight signed and sealed asap he needs to realize that khan is still the "A" side despite not having the title and will want the bigger split.

Do you mean convo for a Mayweather fight? If so then yeah, Porter is American, had a belt, promoted by GBP and managed by Haymon so its hardly a surprise

I hope Khan or Brook or both get a crack at Floyd, IMO it's unlikely but we never know. Boxing fans throw all sorts of scenarios around, the business men behind the casinos etc know more than us I imagine.

It's not happening in December, mate, and Khan is no longer the 'A' side. As you'll see when a Brook sells out the very same venue Khan couldn't half fill last year.

Lol your deluded if you think Kell is a bigger name and economic force then Amir Khan
Brook V Hatton was a sellout in sheffield 2 years ago wasn't it...that didn't exactly translate into making him a household name. Great win by Brook over the weekend, delighted for him but it hardly caused a stir over here did it..the fight wasn't even covered on national radio

In terms of ticket sales he's the A side, but when it comes to TV and the general public, that still belongs very much to Khan.

Saturday's fight completely bombed in the ratings, Showtime and Mayweather take one look at them and he's out of the running, Porter probably would have been if he'd won, Brook has even less chance, he isn't American, he's unknown there and while fighting him would give Floyd a belt, it would struggle to do the necessary PPV numbers.

You serious????? Khan is a established superstar on both sides of the atlantic as to my knowledge is the only brit with a showtime/hbo contract. If anyone think brook is now the "A" they are seriously deluded. Really hope hearn dosent have the same opinion or khan will quite rightly say screw you I'm waiting for mayweather and british fans miss out on a huge fight

I'm being serious. In America, Khan is undoubtedly the bigger name. In Britain, although he is known by the general public, this hasn't translated into ticket sales or TV revenue or his last few fights wouldn't have been on BN and his fight with McCloskey wouldn't have been on Primetime. Khan's popularity has gone massively backwards since he turned pro over here. Brooks has just received a massive boost. American TV won't be that bothered about this fight so it will be here the real money is made.

Mayweather would never have boxed Porter whatever the outcome. He hardly ever boxes fellow black Americans, the PPV is just not good enough(Sugar Shane was a massive name).

I think you are drastically overestimating how popular Khan is over here.
