Very nice pictures eric, nice couple of you and Ali, I had the pleasure to meet him once behind Wembley stadium after Bruno v Witherspoon, unfortunately his 2 minders were less than accommodating. Long time no see...how are you?.... last time we spoke you were threatening me over the phone for calling you a chubster on this forum....

Hopefully your fuse is a bit longer in this day and age. catch up soon for a beer mate I hope. I bet spud has a decent pic collection now, mine is not too bad.

Nice pics Eric. I'm sure I saw you at the 2008 and 2009 UKBFF finals. Zack Khan came second in 2008. I'm sure 2008 was the year when he went into the crowd to pose and the place went bonkers, but he only came in second due to conditioning. Do you have any photos of those shows? The 2008 show was the best one I've attended.

It's a right shame because he seems a really genuine sort but he does take himself too serious on here. I think it's because 'everyone' knows who he is so if he takes any flak or a bit of a piss take his mates will pull him about it. He's got to realise that most of us on here don't work in boxing and enjoy the sport and enjoy a bit of a mickey take and putting our opinions across to people we wouldn't normally meet. You can see from his photos he's well thought of by important people but the most important people can have the piss took on a forum by the least important.

He told me if I messaged him my number he'd give me the proper run down on the Maloney thing and I believe he would have; the thing is I'd spill my guts to everyone in about 2 minutes so I'm better off not knowing owt anyone else doesn't.

Threads getting taken down is a bit OTT but the mods have to tread a fine line and they keep the place decent, if someone was getting too upset it's better the thread is pulled.

The point I have tried to make is that I am sure Eric has a million boxing related stories that we would all genuinely like to hear.

However, just hinting that he knows stuff that we don't without actually revealing anything is more frustrating to me as a reader than not knowing anything in the first place.

I reckon if you bumped into him and he got to like you he'd be right interesting.

I think he's been careful around the Frank/Kellie thing because he's close to the family and because muck raking journalists are all over, plus as well we're just being nosy, it doesn't add much to our lives if we know all the ins and outs - thinking about it I can understand his position more but on other boxing stuff that years old he could be someone who could really add enjoyment to the forum.

It dont bother me talking aboutFrank/Kellie, even tho I am close to the family,
I dont get irate, or pissed off with guys who know what they are talking about.
but some people are thinking they are clever by saying things like bumming, and crap like that, which is not nice,
I never hint stuff, I just state the facts about certain things that people who dont know what they are talking about and correcting them, and I should not really need to go on into that, as people will STILL miss understand it, and babble nonsense,

I dont take what guys on here seriously, I know its a forum, and people can say what they want, specially guys that dont even bother using a real name,
