I'm one of those guys that drop down my salary down on FMJ's PPV events hoping to see him hit the canvas or at least be tested, heck even dazed for a second. All this money i've wasted and all I have to show for it is a slight knee buckle against Shane Mosely. My hate for him continued to grow with every buy but something stupid happened at the same time. I couldn't help but appreciate the skill this guy has. He's a filthy fighter and I just don't think that there has been anyone to come along that he wouldn't comfortably beat in 12 rounds. We all cry for Manny but honestly, the fight will be boring between these two with FMJ accumulating points moving around the ring avoiding contact. FMJ would beat Manny easily 5 years ago and next week. He's just that damn good and I hate it.

With that said, I still agree with him being overrated. To me, you can't be considered one of TBE or even P4P Champ for that matter if you refuse to fight the second best fighter in your weight class during your prime. So the eye test tells me that he's great and one of the greatest but i'm completely ok with him being refused from TBE consideration for the choices that he's made not to test himself and reward the fans or their support.

Floyd has moved up in weight though,Leonard was always a welterweight so carried welter power.

Where is this mysterious "refusal" you guys continue claim that Floyd has done? I've only read of one time that they've sat down to have "LEGAL" contract negotiations, disputing who gets what and who does what in the media isn't LEGAL negotiations for a fight.

Maybe you should read this to update yourself as to who was the one who refused the fight back when the one and only time (besides now) that they've sat down to LEGALLY discuss this bout:

Come on man, you're better than that. FMJ is the most powerful athlete in sports now and perhaps, EVER. He gets exactly what he wants when he wants. Do you REALLY think that if FMJ wanted a fight he wouldn't get it? You pulling a propaganda article from 2012 doesn't prove anything. Schaefer was GB's CEO and he didn't think the information was true. I think he would know better than anyone if the fight was close to happening. It wasn't. It honestly wouldn't surprise me if FMJ fights Cotto in May. Joke.

Prove it is a propaganda article!! Everyone knows that they had negotiations and that it was no secret that Manny Pacquiao refused the blood testing because he was afraid of needles and having blood drawn weakens him, so where's the propaganda in that??

Floyd couldn't make Manny sign then and he cannot make him sign now, what part of that you don't understand?
