I think that it would be a competitive fight that Lebedev would have a good chance of winning, meaning that I wouldn't be surprised if he won even though I ranked him below Huck. I'm not sure what the issue is, as you obviously agree with me on the part of my post you referred to.

How do you see Cleverly and Bellew stacking up amongst those guys? I cant see them beating them. I think both Lebedev and Huck beat both of them to be honest.

with cleverly having the problems of his life with an 6'0, 79 kg, powerful kovalev, what do you think would happen if cleverly faced an 6'2 1/2. 90 kg, 14 fights 14 kos dimtry kudryashov?

both bellew and cleverly would get brutalized by top 10 caliber cruiserweights, like i often said, cruiserweight division doesnt have one 1 p4p star like middleweight has GGG or super bantam has rigondeaux, but cruiserweight division compared to so many other division is very deep filled with strong tough boxers. look at chambers, he thopught it would be a walk in the park to become a top cruiserweight and lost like every round vs an unknown mchunu.

He is travelling along very nicely at 17-0. Does he have another fight lined up yet?

Hernandez vs Afolabi is scheduled for December 6th in Germany. Should be a good one.

I have said before and will say again Jordan is a top fighter 100% I have been in the ring 70+ times and I for sure was in top shape for him I didn't have only a weeks notice to train I had a full training camp and he beat me I fought phil also on a pretty short notice not enough time to get ready and he caught me I relaxed when I heard the 10 second and I shouldn't have relaxed my fault but Jordan will when this fight IMO he has to much skill for Phil but best of luck to both

Shimmell recently lost two close bouts to Stephen Simmons of Great Britain (3-5 and 9-12). Simmons is talented and showed it by defeating the world's current #1 ranked boxer, Cuba's Osmai Acosta Duarte, at the Strandja Tournament last year by a score of 21-16.

I unfairly see it as like a also ran Heavyweight division or a Future Heavyweight sorta divisions for guys who don't want such big weight differences right now even though obviously a guy can live out his entire career @ CW. Its always been the least compelling division for me of the bigger weight divisions. I am biased against it.

I tend to agree to an extent; it's an odd division. 25lb is a pretty big jump too from LHW to cruiser. Watching Cleverly vs Bellew I sort of felt like both guys were fighters without a premium division. Both looked too small for CW.

Jordan won the World Golden Gloves in Hinckley in 2007.
Jordan did lose two very close fights to Simmons in the amateurs but both times 2 of the 3 judges were from Great Britain. With the computer scoring at the time 2 of the 3 judges had to press the button within a second of each other for a punch to be a scoring blow.

I think the pros are a different ballgame. Jordan was a slow starter in the amateurs and that hurt him in some 3 round fights. Now going 10 rounds his endurance advantage shows a lot more. Jordan has also improved a lot over the last few years as evidenced by how he performs against world champions in the gym in sparring.
