They will even convince everyone they hate each other, despite them being mates!
It seems to be 2 PPV cards a year no matter what at the mo, the problem with that being there aren't always 2 cards a year that deserve it.
Yes, and the dates seem set in stone. Last years and this years are almost identical.

I've only just noticed that. No way I'm paying for it.

I thought it was a wind up when I heard it was PPV as well - Really disappointed with Sky and Matchroom even more than I usually am - As already mentioned the card is hardly worthy of a standard Saturday night card never mind a £15.00 PPV event.
Everyone needs to make there feelings known to Sky Boxing, Matchroom, Adam Smith and Fast Eddie via Twitter or email.
Seriously give them a piece of your mind... Greedy bastards

This is the worst sky pay per view show since khan vs prescott.
The cheek of the men is unreal.
Shocked but after all these years i suppose i shouldn't be.

Well, I've just told him on Twitter that I aint paying for it.
He tends to ignore me on twitter though, he never ever replies to my tweets regarding what time ring walks are.

Yep.

jesus, PPV??? Absolute garbage.
Probably a half decent fight, but only fit for a Friday night show in a Leisure centre in Swindon in 1997

I don't think having it in 1997 is a good idea. I mean, it's not a decent enough fight that it's worth inventing time travel for.

In fairness its the same old dogshit Matchroom have produced all year except this time with a Box Office tag. Cleverly v Bellew is the only 50/50 fight on the bill which is 1 more than there has been on the "non pay" shows. After parting a couple of times with my hard earned this year & sitting through a Matchroom boxer beating up a shot/weight below boxer I can honestly say it wont be happening again!

i wonder how this works for clev and bellow if they just get a % of PPV sales then they could be fighting for next to nothing if hearn has promised them a purse the hearn could lose big time i guess some where in the middle

Problem is Eddie has enough fan-boys on Social Media who buy everything he says and sells hook line and sinker. The PPV will probably be a success, even if boxing fans who can see through the BS give it a swerve.

Quigg vs Agbeko isn't a terrible fight, id favour Quigg but Agbeko will be the best win on his record at this point regardless of recent form.

Both fighters will have to be on a % of PPV, otherwise they wouldnt be trying desperately to sell their feud.

That's an interesting fight. It should be headlining it's own show on SKY Sports.

I actually dont mind Eddie, he comes across as a decent guy and I genuinely think he is good for boxing but the problem is that Matchroom have such a strangle hold of the market that he can afford to put out naff content and non boxing fans lap it up.

Ha! It is a contradiction.
But you know what I mean.
Hearn has taken boxing forward but now with allegedly faltering to put on good shows, and other promoters struggling for television dates Matchroom can now afford to put forward below par shows.

Yeah but the thing is, if he was this great guy and really wanted to benefit boxing on a whole versus just lining his pockets he would still put on the best shows he could no matter if he can get away with putting on dross because of the current failings of other promoters.

Remember when people thought David Haye vs Audley Harrison was a PPV worthy contest, and then got pissed when it was a crap fight? It's like, well if you were dumb enough to pay for it.
