So what?! That doesn't mean he is washed up.

Hopkins will lose his next fight in April next year and then you'll admit the truth when he is powerless to prevent being dominated.
You are clueless. Your opinions sicken me.

Who is going to dominate him? Some nobody? I highly doubt it.

Show some respect for a legend, naive!

Bernard himself obviously doesn't consider his last performance a fiasco: "Hopkins said his performance in that fight would make his next fight even bigger."

He doesn't feel shot and thinks he can beat Golovkin. If he was planning to lose, he would probably select Ward.

I hope the rumours aren't true. Had Hopkins been competitive with Kovalev, sure, no problem, but ultimately GGG would be fighting a 50 year old who is well past his best. Do we really want to see another fight with Hopkins just trying to go the distance and getting badly hurt whenever he tries to return fire?

I don't think there's a right or wrong answer to whether Hopkins is shot - he's still got his skills, but at his advanced age, his stamina is so poor he was barely able to throw 30 punches per round against the limited Shumenov. BHop is a genius in the ring and excellent as playing to his strengths and conserving his energy over the distance of a fight, but I'd rather see him bow out now than see him take unnecessary punishment or possible lose against a B level fighter.
