Stole a decision against Hamilton, got shown up by Willie and now he's on baiting Brad and Harrison. Boxing is better without this guy imo.
Couldn't of put it better myself. The hamilton decision was a joke and people in boxing allowed there emotions to blinker what was happening. It was a tough fight and pretty close but CW never did enough to take that title.
Hamilton got what he deserved after that hideous insulting 'rap' aimed at Curtis. you reap what you sow in life im afraid. the fight was close, Hamilton went backwards too often and was outworked by the busier Curtis, if we want to claim fighters were 'robbed' then that is simply not the decision to point the fingers at.

I'd class coming on here and slagging Curtis off as 'trolling' too. You know he is here, and you know he can reply, just like twitter. Then again, he is most likely just laughing at this thread. Keep doing as you do Curtis. Don't let the (hate this fvcking word) "haters" change who you are.

I take the rough with the smooth, I enjoy boxrec, if a few people say bad things about me I won't go running to my mum, I'm a big boy, only 1 person on the planet that's played premiership football and won the British title, it will be a long time before it gets done again, there's a saying that goes a bit like this "to avoid critism do nothing, say nothing and win nothing, that way you will be fine" I set a goal and went and did it, British champion, proud as punch, life's for living folks, enjoy the ride :TU:

Indeed but I don't consider posting on twitter as 'living the life' if you see what I mean.

No posting on twitter is not living the life, playing 400 league games and playing at the best grounds and against the best players is, throw in a British title just for the fun of it and I'd say life ain't been too bad, obviously you have done something similar or even better but I'm just saying I've enjoyed my 34 years so far, gunna be a football manager next, see where that takes me, might even have a few more fights just to keep me happy, like I said, life's for living, are you living yours?? Hope so

hahahaha brilliant post

Keyboard warriors sitting here in their shitty little lives, achieving little except broken dreams but feel slightly empowered to write crap on a boxing forum. Nice one Curtis. I for one respect that, I am a normal guy with a normal life and tip my hat to you, filling your time better than most of us.

How do we know the 'keyboard warriors' have 'shitty little lives'?

We don't know that at all.

If the criticism is 'Curtis, wouldn't it be better if you kept off twitter, it seems to be the crux of your PR woes as you come across as a bit of a nutter who engages in pointless flame wars and are famous for hunting people down who might not think you are that good' then that criticism is quite valid in my opinion.

The facts are that he is going to be remembered more for being the 'twitter troll hunter' than for anything else he has achieved in sport, that is a real shame but one of his own doing.

Curtis would be better off twitter - not because my life is shit or I am a keyboard warrior, it is just good advice. If he or anyone else thinks otherwise then my life and achivements are still great! :TU:

Granted I do not know that the keyboard have shitty little lives but I am willing to bet that in the majority of cases they are pretty normal, mundane lives with many broken dreams and aspirations. I will put mine hands up and say although it may appear successful in many ways, in reality it is not a hollywood film.

I do tip my hat at Curtis, the lad is grabbing life and realising dreams. He played premiership football and I am willing to bet a huge percentage of this forum would love to have done that. He won a British boxing title and I am certain an even larger percentage wish they had done that.

Twitter, trolls etc, pah, so what?

I try not to get involve with the Curtis Woodhouse roadshow, he has done some huge things with his life and his sporting achievements but he also thrives on the attention which he gets plenty off from others.

If a life is 'mundane' doesn't mean it is 'shit' some people are very happy living mundane lives, Robin Williams could have thrown his oscars at us or his award winning films or sold out comedy shows but he wasn't happy - would you swap your more mundane existence for his? And the answer is obviously no because at the core of it all, he was extremely unhappy and none of his achievments helped where and when it mattered!

Now, I was a mediocre amateur who would have loved to have become a British boxing champion - or played 400 games for various mid to lower league clubs (except I couldn't play football to save my life) - that would have been alright for sure but I haven't the need to take on twitter wars and hunt people down, seems like I am happy enough inside not to do that and my (and I am sure other peoples) life is great.

At the end of the day, all anyone is doing is giving him advice, it is up to him if he takes it. What I or anyone else says isn't going to have any effect. I think we all know this. If he throws his achievements at our feet like we should be envious then he is going to be disappointed that most people - though not begrudging him his successes (not on here, maybe on twitter) are certainly not green with envy.

The posters banging on about how he was lucky against Hamilton and he is crap etc - wrap up lads.

Curtis, it is better to rise above it, let your achievements do the talking, said with much love. :TU:

Good morning Curtis,

No, I haven't had your career, either in football or in boxing. Having said that, I had an interesting life so far. Left the UK at 23 for France with my broken dreams, a sh*t life and no model girlfriend. You know what I mean, the usual 'keyboard warrior' existence: booze, weekend aggro, student parties, turning up unfit at the gym, supporting a mediocre football team (Fulham) etc... Urg. Terrible!

Nearly ten years on, I have a decent job, having fun in a foreign country, travelled around the world as an England supporter (including South Africa, have you been?) but still have no twitter account. It could have been much better for sure, I agree.

My point is: With a life like yours - full of entertainment and excitement - why do you waste it on social media? Surely you have little time for us, the 'common people'?

Keep enlightening my life mate

H.

What's peoples definition of a keyboard warrior?? I'd say somebody who gets aggressive in there posts & becomes threatening & rude? Not somebody who gives there opinion or passes judgement.

Genuine question Curtis, IF your serious about continuing boxing was it not a mistake to go to Hobson if Fish eyes wont let you fight on BN? Hobson doesn't do business with Hearn so where is left for you to go?
