Then he's he's done absolutely fantastic and should be applauded for getting back on track so well; he can't be a bad athlete/boxer getting through 12 rounds with all that going on in the background can he?

Right Hook; you didn't come across as nasty or small minded before the bout; how you're going on now is not banter, we know you're pleased Tony got the win but really, it's not the most important thing in the world for most of us. You might like to post about other fights and other topics please just cut out the spite and glee at someone else's misfortune - I've got a crap memory but others haven't and you'll be brought up about how you've been.

Nathan is a pro boxer, earning money by boxing; the same as your mate; some people would say he's worked harder than most pro boxers as he studied at University while training and fighting - it seems to me in the real world Nathan would be someone to admire, not to slate.
I enjoy a good boxing debate as much as the next guy but some people can't handle the truth, I mean come on mate this thread is about m and your saying I need to calm it down, people have chatted 5hit on here for weeks leading up to the fight and now there Welsh hope has been humiliated they try to take it out on me

Most people who held strong opinions about the bout were on about the fact it was ppv when it shouldn't have been and the pre fight talk, the majority of it by Bellew.

You were chuffed when your mate won, I've not seen the fight but it seems as if it weren't the best. People weren't slating Bellew for how he is but for how he'd behaved and anyone neutral would say he'd gone over the top with all the hate talk.

If Nathan had problems with drink and drugs then he's one out of millions around the world and I'd say it takes some bottle to get into the ring when tour preparation hasn't been ideal.

It may be that cruiser suits Tony more and Nathan ought to drop back down, regardless, he deserves more respect; the 2 boxers don't seem to be miles apart in ability.

The whole hate for Wales thing is strange, I thought it were a nice part of the world.

Righthook,
If Bellew was 10 times better than Nathan (now here's where it could be tricky but do the maths) how come he didn't stop him or for that matter get him to at least visit the canvas ?
I've no preference for either man but any neutral would have to say that was a poor poor fight.
Different reasons for both men but poor.

Righthook is correct about one thing though - that bandana is effing awful.

Yeah, Right Hook does have a point there.

(I'm thinking about getting a neckerchief, what do you think? Is it too flamboyant/flashy?)

Cleverly was able to get the fight to a split decision despite only being able to throw a left jab for 10 of the 12 rounds. I think that says it all about Bellew's performance on the night. It was a slightly embarrassing night for British boxing to be honest. Sloppy & (hopefully) forgettable fight. If Clev can find some motivation & get his head screwed back on, I still think he has a future at LHW - getting blasted out by Kovalev is no disgrace as we've seen. As for Bellew, genuinely no idea where he goes from that... was anybody impressed? :-?

It seems at least one person was  He doesn't get up until 1ish so will be along shortly to tell you how good his hero is.

To be fair, I've never fought at World title level so I shouldn't even be allowed to voice my opinion on his, oops sorry I mean his hero's, fights. :DD
