How long ago was it they sparred him? I ask because i thought he lacked power a couple of years ago and then seemed to develop it. He looks like he has power now but is that because of the level of the opposition or because he's maturing?

Probably a bit of both , his opposition has'nt been the best , but he has looked like he developed power, until you start to look at how much effort he has to put into hurting opponents that are not what you would say top quality , without being disrespectful .

I think Eubanks problem is going to be that just like his father bangs on about learning to box in the hard rings of American boxing , where they learnt lateral movement ect ect ect . Jnr tends to want to fight like american boxers , but at this level , standing just weaving at the waste will not cut it . Saunders is experienced , a mover and has a great coach in his corner , I can really see Billy Joe , doubling and trebling the punches up , and forcing Jnr on to the back foot and off balance most of the fight .

Jnr to me has been developing a style full of basic mistakes , and will be biting off more than he can choo .. Now there i've predicted it , so you can all run off and put your money on Jnr , because i'm usually wrong

He didn't spar him, he boxed him over six and took it to him. I've seen the same kid have a competitive spar with a 42 year old white collar boxer and also barely lay a glove on Ashley Vanzie.

Ah yeah, i just looked at Eubanks record, in fairness to Eubank that was his 4th pro fight. Which is why i was trying to gauge weather his power has developed or if its just the same but he's fighting lesser opponents. I dont recall the fight although im sure i've watched most of Eubanks pro career, however the results suggest Eubank won every round.

I did also notice Harry Matthews has boxed some decent level opponents including Nick Blackwell and although he has 20 losses has only been stopped once due to a cut. So i would surmise that he is a tough bastard, is there anyone he does think can punch? Bloody hell i've also seen he's only seen the canvas once in 34 fights.
